First, the external review of doctoral thesis
According to the requirements of the relevant notice of the school, all doctoral dissertations (including unified recruitment and in-service doctoral dissertations) that apply for defense must be externally audited. After the pre-defense, according to the notification requirements, submit the externally audited dissertation through the graduate management information system of Shandong University. After submission, timely notify the tutor for systematic review, and submit the dissertation for review only after passing the review. The deadline for tutors to submit and review papers is 1 1:00 on the morning of April 6th. Please submit it on time to avoid affecting the anonymous external audit.
Second, the external audit of master's thesis
Please wait for the results of the master's anonymous external audit on March 25th. Students selected by the system to participate in external audit and all on-the-job graduate students need to submit their papers in the graduate management system, and ask their tutors to review them. The deadline is before 1 1:00 am on April 6th. Full-time master's theses that are not systematically selected for external evaluation will be evaluated anonymously by the college, and the submission method and deadline will be notified separately.
Note: (1) All graduate students are requested to finish their papers in advance and send them to their tutors for review. Don't let the tutor revise the paper one day before the deadline, so that they can't participate in the external review of the paper. (2) upload anonymous external audit papers in the system, and the names of students and tutors appearing in the papers should be hidden, including the attached articles. If it is omitted for personal reasons, it will affect the anonymous external trial, and the consequences will be at your own risk.
Third, the school organizes the submission and time arrangement of anonymous student materials.
1. Applicants for doctoral and master's degrees submitted by the school need to submit electronic dissertations through the Graduate Management Information System of Shandong University, and the dissertations must be in pdf format. Postgraduates themselves are responsible for anonymous treatment of dissertations (the names of authors and tutors are hidden in the cover, thanks and published papers). If anonymous processing does not affect the normal marking, the responsibility shall be borne by the graduate students themselves.
2. Applicants for doctoral degrees should carefully fill in the relevant contents of the self-evaluation form in the graduate management information system of Shandong University, and fill in the "chapters related to the dissertation" and other contents in the "student achievement information"-"published papers". According to these two contents, the system will automatically generate a self-evaluation form for doctoral thesis for anonymous evaluation. After completing the form, teachers can download and view it.
3. All doctoral students, master students and tutors selected by the system for external audit should submit and review their dissertations anonymously through the Graduate Management Information System of Shandong University before 0:00 am on April 6. The overdue system will close related functions. The defense application of degree applicants who fail to submit their papers according to the requirements and time is invalid.
4. Anonymous evaluation of the process of submitting dissertations.
(1) Students log in to the Graduate Management Information System of Shandong University and upload their dissertations for anonymous evaluation;
(2) The tutor logs into the graduate management information system of Shandong University, looks at the dissertations and reviews them;
(3) After being confirmed by the system, the graduate secretary completes the submission of the dissertation through auditing. After the graduate secretary passes the examination, the system will lock the data.
Fourthly, the submission and timing of anonymous external audit materials sent by the college.
Graduate students who are not selected for anonymous external audit shall be submitted for audit by the college. Please send the paper to suziyang@sdu.edu.cn before 0: 00am on April 6th. Thesis must be in pdf format and named as "Student ID+Name+Thesis Title". Graduate students are responsible for the anonymity of their papers (removing the names of authors and tutors, etc.) ). Please strictly observe the schedule, and the delay will affect the follow-up process at your own risk.
Students who are responsible for anonymous submission should submit the Consent for Anonymous External Audit of Postgraduate Dissertation (see attachment) signed by the tutor and the students to Mr. Su at 9: 00-1on April 6th.
