Have strong ability to independently study, analyze and solve environmental and resource law problems, and be competent for the work of environmental and resource law teaching, scientific research and legal institutions (environmental legislation, law enforcement, justice, lawyers) and environmental and resource management institutions;
4. Proficient in a foreign language, able to read and accurately translate foreign language materials of this major in foreign languages, and have certain foreign language listening and speaking skills;
5, physical and mental health, can adapt to the work requirements of scientific research, teaching or practice departments.

Third, the length of study.
1, the standard academic system for master students is three years.
2. Those who have completed the training plan ahead of schedule and achieved excellent results may apply for graduation one year in advance.
3. Those who have not completed their degree/thesis after completing the course credits can leave school early, and their degree application and thesis defense can be extended to four years upon their own application, the consent of the tutor and the approval of the college.
If you can't finish all your studies within the stipulated maximum period, you will be regarded as finished.

2. Implement diversified teaching methods, including the combination of on-campus teachers and inviting off-campus experts to give special lectures, the combination of classroom teaching and participation in environmental and resource legal practice, the combination of tutors and students' discussions, and the combination of on-campus lectures and off-campus lectures, focusing on cultivating students' comprehensive abilities such as innovation, problem analysis and problem solving, language expression and paper writing.
3. Tutor-oriented training system, responsible for tutors and giving play to the role of academic groups. Every tutor should understand and master the students' thoughts and learning situation, and guide and solve the difficult problems in students' learning in time.
4. In addition to arranging and urging students to complete academic papers, tutors should also encourage and guide students to write research-oriented professional papers during their studies, and actively recommend and publish high-level papers.
Seven, assessment methods
Degree courses take the form of examination, and elective courses take the form of examination or examination. The examination shall be conducted by written examination, oral examination if necessary, or a combination of written examination and oral examination. Test scores are assessed on a 100-point scale, and test scores are assessed on a five-level scale. 1, the topic of master's degree thesis is limited to the scope of environmental and resource law, and it is usually a special study or a high-quality investigation report. The topic should be closely combined with the reality of China's environmental resources legislation, law enforcement and justice, stand at the forefront of the theoretical development of environmental resources law in the world, explore the basic principles of environmental resources law and the basic ways and methods to improve and perfect the environmental resources legal system. The title of the thesis was decided at the beginning of the second year.
2. The thesis is independently completed by graduate students under the guidance of tutors. Before writing, we should study the paper carefully and collect information extensively. On this basis, draw up a writing outline. Only the tutor agrees can it be written formally. You must think independently when writing a paper. Plagiarism is strictly prohibited. Mentors should carefully guide and strictly control. Papers should conform to the prescribed format, the number of words should be controlled at about 30 thousand words, and the final version should be approved by the tutor.
IX. Defense and Degree Granting
1, the defense of master's degree thesis shall be conducted according to the relevant regulations of the state and graduate schools. Only those who meet the prescribed conditions can be allowed to participate in the thesis defense.
