Scientific Outlook on Development Propaganda Group of Liaoning University of Engineering Science (hereinafter referred to as the Propaganda Group) is a theoretical learning student organization with the purpose of studying, researching and publicizing the Party's important ideas and advanced theories, improving students' ideological and political quality, and promoting and realizing the self-education of youth league members.
In July 2002, Scientific Outlook on Development, a college student of Liaoning University of Engineering Technology, was founded. In March 2003, the Youth League Committee of the school set up a branch directly under the Youth League Committee in the propaganda group. Since its establishment more than seven years ago, the propaganda group has carried out a series of distinctive activities and done some fruitful work with the cordial care and strong support of superior leaders and the unremitting efforts of several members of the propaganda group. It has played an important role in publicizing Theory of Three Represents and the socialist concept of honor and disgrace, implementing the spirit of the 17th National Congress, practicing Scientific Outlook on Development, improving the theoretical quality of the majority of student cadres, realizing self-education of college students, and building the spiritual pillar of college students. New progress has been made in enriching the content of campus culture, leading the trend of campus culture, serving the healthy growth of students, serving the reform, development and stability of schools, and strengthening the self-construction of the Youth League, and new steps have been taken in the development of the Youth League.
The party and government leaders of the school attach great importance to the development of the propaganda group and ask the Youth League Committee to strengthen the guidance and support for the propaganda group from all aspects. The Youth League Committee has opened up a fixed activity place for the propaganda group, and all the activities are funded by the Youth League Committee. The Youth League Committee specially purchased a large number of books from Beijing, Shenyang and other places for the publicity group, and also subscribed to newspapers, magazines and related CDs such as Qiushi, Semimonthly Talk, Current Affairs Handbook and College Students, and set up a CD-ROM database for publicity. With the care and support of the leaders, the construction of the propaganda group has continuously taken new steps, and the work of the propaganda group has continuously opened up a new situation. Since its establishment, the Propaganda Group has won seven national and provincial honors, including the Second National Association of Excellent Colleges and Universities and the Third National Association of Top Ten Colleges and Universities.
Second, the organizational structure
At present, the delegation has 29 members, including the current head of the delegation, Cai Chao, and the branch secretary of the delegation, Sun Bing. On a voluntary basis, the members of the publicity group are all students with excellent academic performance. They are the elite students of all departments and the backbone of cadres. They have high ideological awareness, strong working ability and broad mass base. In daily life, they can play the vanguard and exemplary role of party member and the exemplary role of student cadres.
There are two organizations under the Propaganda Group: the Propaganda Group Committee and the Propaganda Group Branch. The Propaganda Youth League Committee consists of the head, deputy heads, study members and discipline inspection members, and the Propaganda Youth League branch consists of the secretary, organization members and propaganda members. The Propaganda Group Committee exercises the following functions and powers: it is responsible for formulating the draft annual work plan, which is reviewed and approved by the Propaganda Group meeting and reported to the Youth League Committee for approval; Organize members to carry out theoretical study, collective discussion and trial lectures in groups; Divide theoretical study groups; Arrange preaching and publicity tasks; To implement the resolutions of the delegation meeting; Other functions and powers exercised by the publicity committee. The Youth League Branch of the Propaganda Group exercises the following functions and powers: organizing members to learn the theoretical knowledge of Marxism-Leninism, Mao Zedong Thought, Deng Xiaoping Theory, Theory of Three Represents and Scientific Outlook on Development, the Party's line, principles and policies, the documents on students' ideological and political aspects issued by the Party Committee and Youth League Committee of the school, and the scientific, cultural and propaganda knowledge; Formulate and revise the articles of association and various rules and regulations of the propaganda group, and do a good job in sorting out and filing all kinds of documents and materials of the propaganda group; Educate and manage the League members, improve the organizational life of the propaganda group, carry out criticism and self-criticism, supervise the League members to earnestly perform their obligations and implement the discipline of the League; Regular assessment and rewards and punishments for members; Convene regular intra-group meetings and have the right to convene emergency meetings when necessary; The League branch has the right to carry out distinctive activities within the League; Other functions and powers exercised by the Youth League Branch of the Propaganda Group.
So far, the publicity group has established a series of rules and regulations, such as the articles of association of the publicity group, the archives management system of the publicity group, the study system of the publicity group, the activities regulations of the publicity group, and the discipline inspection regulations of the publicity group, and initially established the rules and regulations system of the publicity group. According to the new development and changes of the situation, the propaganda group also arranged, revised, supplemented and improved the rules and regulations in different degrees in time to better adapt to the work and activities.
The propaganda group has a team of theoretical guidance teachers with high academic level. Professor Xing Baojun, deputy secretary of the Party Committee of our school, doctoral supervisor, Professor Zhao Shouyun, an excellent teacher of two courses in China, Professor Lang, former director of the Propaganda Department of our school, Associate Professor Qiu Zhanyong, secretary of the Party Committee of the Security College, researcher of the Organization Department of our school, Professor Xue Ming from the School of Management and Law, Professor Guan Tinghui, director of the Mao Zedong Thought Teaching and Research Section, and many other experts and scholars are the theoretical directors of the propaganda group. Zhou Zhiqiang, secretary of the Youth League Committee of our school, and teacher Li Yu personally served as teachers, and the strong faculty provided an effective guarantee for the publicity quality of the members of the publicity group. The research and publicity activities are carried out in the propaganda group with the study and research group as the unit. Under the guidance of the theoretical guidance teacher, each group carries out activities such as selecting topics, writing papers and giving speeches. The activity instructor is responsible for guiding the management system and organizational construction of the publicity group.
Third, community activities.
1, theoretical learning
In order to guide the youth of the League members to learn advanced theories, improve their political quality, promote self-education and achieve all-round development through publicity activities, members of the publicity group must first continuously improve their theoretical level. He has received theoretical training from authoritative professors in our school, such as Professor Liang Bing, deputy to the National People's Congress and dean of the Graduate School, and Professor Zhao Shouyun, an outstanding teacher of the National "Two Courses", and participated in the reports of Professor Jiang Xiaoqiu, head of the lecturer group of the provincial party committee, and Professor Xing Baojun, deputy secretary of the party committee of our school. Through such training and study, the theoretical quality of the members of the propaganda group has been greatly improved. In addition to the teacher's guidance, members of the delegation also used their vacation time to consciously study the Party's advanced ideas and theories, pay attention to current affairs at home and abroad, and wrote more than one million words of learning experience and one hundred Yu Ben news records. These studies and improvements have laid a solid foundation for the members of the propaganda group to successfully preach.
2. Theoretical statement
Based on the university campus, the propaganda group closely linked with the actual life of college students, and introduced the advanced theories of Theory of Three Represents and Scientific Outlook on Development, the knowledge of the Communist Youth League, the responsibilities of the Communist Youth League cadres, the construction of school spirit and style of study, and the abilities and qualities that student cadres should have to the students in a form and unique language that students loved. In order to obtain a good preaching effect, the preacher will give a strict trial lecture in the group before public preaching, and invite the lecturer to put forward many valuable opinions on the ways and means of preaching. At the same time, the members of the group also exchanged their ideas and experiences and learned from each other. Over the past seven years or so, the propaganda group has carried out a series of propaganda activities, and successively went deep into the weekend talent school, the student cadre training class and 20 departments of the whole school to preach. At present, the propaganda group has preached more than 200 times to college students and primary and secondary school students inside and outside the school, preached more than 500 class hours and preached more than 22,000 times to the audience. The lecture was well received by teachers and students, and aroused strong repercussions among students. It has effectively cooperated with our school to study and implement the spirit of the 17th National Congress of the Communist Party of China, thoroughly implement Scientific Outlook on Development's series of activities, and maintain the advanced nature of party member and enhance the awareness of league members.
3. Thematic publicity
The delegation also carried out publicity activities in combination with major themes and activities. The propaganda group successively held large-scale propaganda activities such as "March towards party flag", "Forever Monument", "Socialist Concept of Honor and Disgrace" and "Sunstone Spirit", a series of propaganda activities to commemorate Deng Xiaoping's birthday100th anniversary, and the theme of "2008 China Heart Flashes", which played a certain role in publicizing the party's theoretical knowledge, maintaining the advanced education of party member and the propaganda group's own situation. The propaganda group also set up its own publicity column to publicize the party's theoretical knowledge and current affairs news to the students through concise news. In addition, party member, all college students of the propaganda group, sent a proposal of "Youth Reflects party flag's Forever Advanced Nature" to party member, calling on party member, a college student, to take immediate action, actively participate in advanced education activities, and spontaneously donate money to Fu Xiangyang, a social orphan.
4. Campus cultural activities
While carrying out theoretical study and publicity activities, the propaganda group also actively participated in campus cultural activities and gave full play to the role of the propaganda group in prospering campus cultural activities. Shortly after its establishment, the propaganda group participated in the "Eagle" series of "Theory of Three Represents Theory and the Spirit of the 16th National Congress" forums sponsored by the Youth League Committee. Over the past few years, the propaganda group has participated in the cultural festival of college students' associations for many times, organized an exchange meeting for new and old members of the propaganda group, collectively participated in the prize-winning knowledge contest of "Theory of Three Represents" theory and "People's Republic of China (PRC) Constitution Amendment" organized by the Propaganda Department of the Party Committee of our school, held a symposium to commemorate the second anniversary of the promulgation of the Outline for the Implementation of Civic Moral Construction, and held a symposium to commemorate the birthday of Mao Zedong 1 10. The members of the propaganda group have played an important role in the process of realizing the self-education of college students in our school, which has promoted the continuous development of ideological and political education of college students in our school.
Fourth, the style of members.
Among all the members of the delegation, the proportion of party member students exceeds 65%, and the proportion of members who have won scholarships exceeds 90%. She is Yan Yingying, the sixth director of college students' Scientific Outlook on Development Propaganda Group and the Department of Journalism and Communication. In May, 2007, as the head of one of the top ten mass organizations in China, she joined the "China University Student Backbone Training School" organized by the Central Committee of the Communist Youth League and the National Federation of Students at the invitation of the Central Committee of the Communist Youth League. The school was established according to the instructions of General Secretary Hu Jintao and other central leaders. In this school, Zan Yingying received a half-year follow-up training in Beijing, Jinggangshan and other places. On June 26th, 2007, Wang Zhaoguo, member of the Political Bureau of the Communist Party of China (CPC) Central Committee and vice chairman of the National People's Congress Standing Committee (NPCSC), attended the national symposium on college students' study of the spirit of the 17th CPC National Congress and delivered an important speech.
