This test is recommended for 20~24 weeks of pregnancy. The purpose of this type of B-ultrasound is to carefully examine the head, face, neck, chest/heart, abdomen, bones (including limbs), placenta and umbilical cord of the fetus. , thus eliminating a series of major deformities, so it is called big rejection. However, the large-scale rejection test is not "omnipotent". We cannot expect all fetal malformations to pass the large-scale rejection test. For example, some tiny malformations or some malformations (such as ears) cannot be detected.
Tips for ultrasound examination: This kind of ultrasound examination will also be affected by some potential factors, such as: pregnant women's abdominal wall is too thick, amniotic fluid is too much (the fetus is prone to frequent activities) or too little, fetal position will affect the image quality or the observation of some parts of the fetus, so it may not be completed smoothly at one time, and sometimes it needs multiple examinations or reexaminations.
Nutrition and lifestyle guidance in the second and third trimester of pregnancy
① Appropriately increase the sources of high-quality protein such as fish, poultry, eggs and lean meat in the second and third trimesters, with an increase of 50g per day in the second trimester and about 75g in the third trimester. Fish, especially deep-sea fish, contain DHA, which is beneficial to the development of fetal retina. It is best to eat deep-sea fish 2~3 times a week. Appropriately increase the intake of milk, which is rich in protein and calcium.
