What does Cao Xueqin want to express when he writes A Dream of Red Mansions?
What the author wants to express is to expose all kinds of darkness and evil in the late feudal society and their insurmountable internal contradictions, and strongly criticize the decadent feudal ruling class. At the same time, the novel also expresses a new hazy ideal by praising the noble rebels.

In the history of China literature, no work can write such a gripping love tragedy as A Dream of Red Mansions. No work can reveal the social roots of love tragedy in such a comprehensive and profound way.
