(1) Do a good job in veterinary health management.
Improve the sanitation of pens and improve the living environment of livestock and poultry. It is necessary to remove and treat feces in time, replace straw mats, clean pens, and disinfect regularly to maintain animal health.
① Strict disinfection
In order to prevent epidemic diseases, disinfection is an essential work in chicken farms. Appropriate disinfection facilities are needed, and the choice of disinfectant should be based on the purpose of disinfection. Generally, disinfectants with high efficiency, low cost, convenient use, safety to people and animals, no residual poison and no harmful substances in poultry should be selected. When repeated disinfection, it is best to choose two or more disinfectants with different chemical properties, and at the same time, we must abide by the principles of synergistic use and incompatibility of disinfectants. Hens cannot use phenolic disinfectants, and it is forbidden to use phenolic and aldehyde disinfectants during laying.
② Eliminate sick animals and sick birds in time.
Once the livestock and poultry are sick, it is necessary to eliminate the sick livestock and poultry as soon as possible. When necessary, non-human drugs and additives with strong action, fast metabolism, little toxic and side effects and minimum residue can be added, or biological agents can be used as drugs for treating diseases to control the occurrence and development of livestock and poultry diseases. When infectious diseases occur, measures such as isolation and culling should be taken in time according to the actual situation to prevent the spread of the epidemic.
③ Disease prevention and treatment
We should adhere to the principle of putting prevention first, use scientific immunization procedures, medication procedures, disinfection procedures and treatment procedures for sick livestock and poultry, and do a good job in disinfection and deworming. Some infectious diseases of livestock and poultry can only be prevented early, but not treated. It is necessary to use epidemic (bacterial) vaccine for prevention in a planned and purposeful way, do a good job in immunization of epidemic (bacterial) vaccine in time, and do a good job in epidemic monitoring. Prevent the occurrence of livestock and poultry diseases, avoid using drugs to treat animal diseases, and ensure the hygiene, safety and residue-free of livestock and poultry products.
(2) control the use of feed
Feed is the material basis for the growth of livestock and poultry, and the hygienic quality of feed is closely related to the hygienic quality of livestock products. To improve the quality of livestock products, we must first improve the quality of feed. Must do a good job of testing, detoxification and preservation of raw materials, especially feed additives and compound feed, which should have certain freshness, color, fragrance, taste and histological characteristics of the variety, without mildew, deterioration, caking, odor and peculiar smell, and prohibited drugs should not be used.
According to different livestock and poultry, different growth stages, the correct use of livestock and poultry feed, feeding green feed, to ensure the safety of raw materials, the selected feed crops without residual poison. It is necessary to apply green additives such as microecological preparations, oligosaccharides, enzyme preparations, acid preparations, preservatives and Chinese herbal medicines. In the later period of animal feeding, the feed containing drugs in the early and middle stages shall not be misused, and the finished drugs or the original drugs shall not be directly mixed. Drugs or feed additives containing drugs shall not be added to the feed alone.
(3) scientific and rational drug use
(1) Adhere to the principle that treatment should be supplemented.
When treatment is needed, in the course of treatment, it is necessary to use drugs reasonably, scientifically, suit the remedy to the case and moderately, and only use certified veterinary drugs and products produced by feed factories to avoid adverse reactions such as drug residues and poisoning. Try to use green veterinary drugs with high efficiency, low toxicity, no pollution and no residue, and standardize the use of drugs under the guidance of veterinarians, and do not use drugs privately. Medication must have a veterinary prescription, and each drug on the prescription must indicate the withdrawal period, and the medication during feeding must be recorded in detail.
(2) There should be medication records.
In order to register immunization, medication and feeding management in detail, veterinary drugs must be used in strict accordance with the provisions of the object, duration, dosage and withdrawal period of veterinary drugs. Observe the medication regulations and stop taking drugs in time. Medication registration must be filled in, including at least name, mode, dosage, date of withdrawal, and the prescription should be kept for 5 years.
(3) Observe the withdrawal period.
According to the requirements of relevant laws and regulations, according to the different drugs and their withdrawal periods, the drugs should be stopped in time before the slaughter of livestock and poultry or the listing of their products, so as to avoid residual drugs polluting livestock and poultry and their products, thus affecting human health. ④ Never use illegal drugs.
In the process of raising livestock and poultry, it is necessary to strictly manage the use of drugs, strictly implement the state regulations on the management of feed and veterinary drugs, and strictly prohibit the use of all drugs banned by the state and the international health organization in the process of raising livestock and poultry, such as diethylstilbestrol, clenbuterol hydrochloride, chloramphenicol, etc. And antibacterial drugs used by people and livestock shall not be used as feed additives, and the drugs shall be stopped according to regulations before slaughter. Permitted drugs should be used as required, and the withdrawal period should be strictly observed.
In actual production, the dead seedlings of livestock and poultry should be slaughtered and eaten without complications in 7 days, and the live vaccine 2 1 day can be slaughtered and eaten without complications; Livestock and poultry meat and milk treated with antibiotics and sulfonamides can only be eaten after stopping taking drugs for more than 3 days. If you feed arsenic-containing feed, stop feeding for more than 5 days before eating meat and milk.
(4) Regular monitoring of veterinary drug residues.
In the whole process of raising livestock and poultry, it is necessary to regularly monitor the drug residues in water samples, feed, livestock manure, blood samples and related samples, and grasp the drug use situation in time so as to take correct measures to control drug residues.
