Blade Runner 2049 is a successful work on the shoulders of giants. The film not only continues the existential thinking of blade runner in the new blade world view, but also sets off a better eschatological atmosphere for the beauty of light and shadow in photography and music than the previous works of director denis villeneuve.
When talking about 2049, we can't help but mention the predecessor of the film. Although it is a work of 35 years, its dystopian future world and exploration of human existentialism make it a classic even today. As a sequel to blade runner, this new work brings me almost no less surprises than the original.
