Students fill in the opening report of graduation design (thesis) of Yangtze Normal University according to the task book drawn up by the instructor and after consulting relevant materials.

According to the situation, the college can take various forms to organize the opening report meeting. Under the leadership of the college, the graduation design (thesis) work is managed by the graduation design (thesis) leading group, professional teaching and research section and instructor at three levels, and is responsible for grading management, guidance, inspection, assessment, summary and filing of graduation design (thesis) work.

The relevant requirements of undergraduate graduation design (thesis) stipulate:

At the beginning of the autumn semester of each academic year, the graduation design (thesis) leading group determines the candidates for graduation design instructors. The direction of graduation design is proposed by the instructor and reported to the professional teaching and research section for collective research.

With the approval of the director of the teaching and research section, the director of the teaching and research section will summarize the approved graduation design direction and report it to the dean in charge of teaching and the head of the department for review, and then determine the graduation design (thesis) direction for the students of this major after passing.
