How to write the progress of the paper
Progress is the level of your research field now. You can start with the origin of what you are studying and how you found it. Then write who did this research, what conclusions were drawn or what aspects were studied and who did it. Finally, to sum up, what are the disadvantages of doing so much research? This deficiency is what you should study. This is the value of your research.

My thesis was completed under the guidance of my tutor, starting with the topic selection, collecting information and writing an outline of the thesis.

The first draft of the paper has been basically completed and achieved phased results.

My thesis mainly studies the differences of euphemism from the perspective of politeness principle. By using writing skills such as comparison, analysis and examples, I sum up the differences in the use of euphemism in Chinese and English life and how to use euphemism better, so as to achieve the purpose of making cross-cultural communication smoother. In the data collection stage, I spent a lot of energy and time reading, watching movies, thinking, analyzing and sorting out, because there are many related materials and documents, and on what basis, I need to collect a large number of novel examples. Next, according to the expected work progress, the next step is to make basic changes to the text, format and content of the paper to simplify and sublimate it; Secondly, I need to read more references and find examples to support my argument. Then I need to sort out my thesis under the guidance of my teacher and see if I can find some innovations to make my thesis more brilliant.

From the beginning of my graduation thesis, I have searched the literature about consumer psychology, consumer behavior and advertising strategy in detail from the library in strict accordance with the requirements of my tutor and with a meticulous learning attitude, designed and made a questionnaire and conducted a field investigation. According to the task book and the opening report, I have finished most of the design work step by step. The following are concrete progress.

1. Progress of graduation project (thesis)

(1) Submit the opening report and participate in the opening defense. (completed)

(2) Write questionnaires and carry out research activities. (completed).

(3) write the first draft of the paper. (completed)

(4) Revise the first draft of the paper and complete the first draft. (in progress)

The opening report has been carefully written and handed over to Mr. Zhang Jun on the appointed date.

The research activities have been completed, mainly by questionnaire survey. 50 questionnaires have been printed and distributed randomly to students in our school, and 48 questionnaires have been collected. After sorting out and analyzing the data, this paper summarizes the consumption characteristics, consumption tendency and existing problems of contemporary college students, and analyzes the subjective and objective reasons for these phenomena.

The first draft of the paper has been written.

The significance of studying this topic: the consumption behavior of college students, like other consumers, goes through the process of cognition, emotion and will. College students' educational experience and special campus environment make them a special consumer group in society. They have different consumer needs, special consumer psychology and seem to have different consumer behaviors. If we can fully understand the characteristics of college students' consumption psychology and behavior, we can provide powerful theoretical guidance and practical data basis for merchants to carry out advertising strategies for colleges and universities.

The consumption of college students includes basic living consumption, study consumption, leisure and entertainment consumption, interpersonal communication consumption and so on.

The characteristics of college students' consumption: trend alternation, uniqueness and universality, symbolism and emotional guidance. The consumption of college students is prone to tidal phenomena. That is, the penetration of a new thing and brand in the college student market will suddenly reach its peak at a certain node. The reason can be explained from many angles, but the fundamental reason lies in the high consistency of college students' group identity. Contemporary college students pursue individuality and hope to be regarded as people with unique styles. So they pursue unique, novel and fashionable products. But at the same time, freshness and novelty often bring popularity, and sometimes the process from individual consumption to national consumption is not complicated. Besides use value and exchange value, commodities have another value attribute, namely symbolic value. The more a commodity can reflect the social status and prestige of consumers, the more it can distinguish consumers from others, and the higher its symbolic value. This kind of consumption behavior, which pays attention to the social and personal information conveyed by commodities, is called symbolic consumption. As a result, the products or brands that college students choose and consume have become tools for self-expression and individuality, symbols of social group culture, and marks of mutual recognition and scores among people. College students are a special consumer class, and their consumption behavior embodies the characteristics of pursuing new trends, new fashions and new tastes, and has more emotional factors than other groups. Because they not only hope that goods can meet people's needs in practicality, but also hope that goods can make people get spiritual pleasure and psychological satisfaction in use and viewing.

The consumption psychology of college students mainly includes: the psychology of seeking knowledge for survival, the psychology of pursuing fashion, the psychology of curiosity, the psychology of imitation and the psychology of venting.

The main factors affecting college students' consumption are: the influence of revision psychology, the influence of social environment, the influence of family, the influence of peer groups and the weakness of related education.

The influence of contemporary college students' consumption psychology and behavior on advertising strategies: the influence on advertising performance strategies: the three-dimensional and all-round encirclement of college students' lives, with the focus on publicizing their individuality and highlighting themselves. Influence on advertising media strategy: Traditional and modern communication channels go hand in hand, which makes college students live under the influence of advertising all the time. Influence on advertising promotion strategy: Discount advertising, complimentary advertising and prize-winning advertising are the main promotion methods, which make college students believe that they have gained additional benefits in the purchase. Influence on advertising implementation strategy: endow college students with necessary privileges, use the influence of celebrities to ensure their sense of self-superiority and stimulate their desire to buy.

Conclusion: Only by fully understanding and mastering the living habits and consumption trends of contemporary college students can we effectively improve the shortage of products and meet the psychological needs of consumers. Only in this way can we cater to the appreciation taste of contemporary college students, formulate advertising marketing strategies suitable for ourselves, and make enterprises and institutions invincible in this era of rapid commodity development.

2. Problems encountered in work

In the process of thesis writing, the control ability of the structure and logic of the thesis is not strong enough, and there are deviations in the later writing. Failure to communicate with the tutor in time leads to the inconsistency between the content and the topic of the paper, which needs to be revised in a large space.

When writing, I didn't learn and master the related concepts and theories involved in the paper in time, which led to the stagnation of the paper writing and needed time to study.

Step 3 plan the next step

Under the guidance of the tutor, systematically revise the first draft:

Carefully find out the problems in the paper and think about whether every word and sentence is appropriate;

Improve the logic and structure of the paper and grasp the whole paper;

Delete redundant content and refine content;

Submit papers as required and attend the defense on time.

In addition, I should also strengthen my language expression ability, strengthen communication with the instructor, and have a deeper understanding of the writing purpose of the paper.

In short, I believe that I will keep a positive attitude, and under the careful guidance of my tutor, I can quickly and effectively carry out the next thesis process and successfully complete my graduation thesis writing.

I hope I can help.

Where are you going to write your thesis? Did the teacher approve the topic? Is there an outline for the teacher to see the writing direction?

Did the teacher tell you which direction to write the paper? Be sure to write an outline before writing a paper, and let the teacher determine the framework to avoid big changes in the process of revising the paper in the future! !

Pay attention to the format requirements and writing specifications of the school, otherwise it is likely to be returned for revision. If you still don't understand or know nothing, you can ask me. I hope you can graduate smoothly and move towards a new life.
