In this paper, the general test fixture of vibration test bench is taken as the main research object, the research status and development trend of vibration test fixture at home and abroad are introduced, and the application of finite element method in structural dynamic design, as well as the fixture design specification, design method, design steps and some problems needing attention are deeply studied. According to the requirements of the project, the three-dimensional finite element model of the shaking table test fixture is established by computer aided design, and the boundary conditions of the finite element model are reasonably simulated according to the use form of the test fixture in the shaking table. Using Ansys finite element analysis software, the modal calculation and frequency response analysis of the fixture are carried out, and its structure is modified repeatedly. In the modification process, the influence of the difference between the overall height of the fixture and the structural shape on the response frequency is considered, and the response frequencies of each order after changing the parameters are calculated. Finally, the structural model corresponding to the optimal response frequency is determined, so as to guide the structural design. The actual vibration test shows that the response frequency of the modified model is close to that of the design state, which meets the requirements of engineering application. The first-order vibration frequency of the whole structure of the improved model of shaking table test fixture is 13 18Hz.
