China's engineering graduate students are distributed in large and medium-sized industrial and mining enterprises and engineering management departments, which have played a positive role in promoting social development and modern economic construction. For example, China University of Science and Technology, Chen Jinwu and Yang Hongbing were awarded "Master of Engineering Degree Winners with Outstanding Contributions". Combined with their own practical work, they have made some contributions to the successful launch and safe recovery of China's Shenzhou manned spacecraft. Their master's thesis has also passed the engineering appraisal, which is considered to be advanced in level, good in performance and reliable in work.

Master of engineering students have injected new vitality into the development of enterprises and played a positive role in promoting social and economic development, which has been well received and welcomed by enterprises. Realize the targeted training of talents, combine talent training with solving practical problems of enterprise engineering technology, give full play to the dual advantages of postgraduate education, teaching, scientific research ability and sufficient enterprise engineering projects, and implement the combination of Industry-University-Research. The development momentum of master of engineering education is good, which requires us to further improve the student organization, improve teaching work and ensure talent training.

Second, the problems existing in the training process of master of engineering

Master of engineering education conforms to the international development trend of engineering education, is the requirement of implementing the strategy of rejuvenating the country through science and education and sustainable development, and is the need of the reform of higher engineering education itself. It ensures the sustainable development of talents in enterprises and institutions, promotes the improvement of production management level and efficiency of enterprises and institutions, strengthens the rapid development of local and regional economies, and meets the needs of China's national economic construction and development.

As a new talent training mode, there are some difficulties and problems in master of engineering education.

1. Employers lack participation in the training of engineering masters. Most employers regard talent training as a school matter, and the degree of care and participation is far from enough, which has become an important factor restricting the improvement of the quality of engineering master's degree education in China. 2. There are differences between the training objectives of colleges and universities and the current social needs. At present, colleges and universities mainly focus on cultivating research-oriented talents. Making a reasonable training plan is the key to ensure the quality of engineering master training. The curriculum should not only ensure the necessary theoretical basis, but also reflect the needs of enterprises. The course content should be broad in knowledge and comprehensive in content, reflect the development frontier of contemporary engineering technology, and set the course content according to the needs of enterprises and engineering fields. On the basis of ensuring the basic content, fully consider the actual foundation of engineering master students, and adjust the setting of public courses and professional basic courses according to the requirements of enterprises. Every course should highlight the general education in various engineering fields and lay a good foundation. Professional elective courses should be based on the actual situation of enterprises, strengthen the application and pertinence, and offer frontier and interdisciplinary lectures in various engineering fields. Only in this way can we fully cultivate talents and serve enterprises.

2. Give full play to the guiding role of dual tutors of university tutors and enterprise tutors, and establish a stable tutor team with teaching experience, scientific research ability and engineering practice experience. For the training of master of engineering, colleges and universities should hire a group of experienced teachers with senior titles among teachers with the qualification of guiding master of engineering, and colleges and universities can hire healthy retired professors as tutors according to their own reality. College tutors play a leading role in the training process. They should guide students to choose suitable topics, directly discuss the technical scheme of paper implementation with students, guide students to complete the paper, and be responsible for the quality of the paper. The topic of the paper should be included in the enterprise's scientific and technological development plan and technical transformation project, and become a project jointly developed by universities and enterprises. So the funds are sufficient and the project goes smoothly. The topic selection should be coordinated with the engineering and technical problems that training enterprises urgently need to solve as far as possible; Consistent with the research direction of the tutor; Coordinate with improving the ability of engineering master students to comprehensively apply modern scientific knowledge to solve engineering and technical problems; Coordinate with the personal interests and specialties of engineering master students. Schools and enterprises need to strengthen the tracking, inspection and evaluation of the thesis stage. This will help to mobilize the enthusiasm of universities, enterprises, tutors and students, and make the thesis work go smoothly and achieve results.

4. Strengthen the close cooperation between schools and enterprises, improve the mechanism, standardize management, and improve the management level of engineering master training. In the mode of running a master of engineering, the close cooperation between schools and enterprises should be realized. As the main body and user of human resources, enterprises have the enthusiasm and effective supervision means to participate in quality supervision and training. Enterprises or enterprises and individuals share the educational cost reasonably while enjoying the educational benefits, so as to realize the diversification of financing channels for postgraduate training. 5. Actively explore and deepen the reform of teaching methods. Engineering has always been a contradiction in the training of engineering masters. In order to complete the set amount of teaching, some colleges and universities adopt the way that teachers go to enterprises to give lectures in a centralized way. Although this has temporarily solved the problems of work and study, the cost of colleges and universities has greatly increased, which is not only not conducive to the enthusiasm of colleges and universities, but also to the digestion of what students have learned. Distance education provides good conditions for the special education and scale training of engineering masters, plays a great role in improving school conditions and teaching level, and is an important way for students to solve the contradiction between work and study and receive high-level graduate education full-time. Adult network education in our school has rich experience in network teaching, which can be used for reference by engineering masters in distance network teaching.

Fourthly, the innovation of engineering master education mechanism needs the close combination of universities and enterprises.

To make the master of engineering education develop healthily, we must give full play to the role of universities and enterprises, university tutors and enterprise experts, and enhance the initiative of universities and enterprises in cultivating talents.

Master of engineering education has trained talents for enterprises, solved the problems of science and technology and R&D in enterprises, and also increased scientific research cooperation projects for schools, enriching the educational content. Master of engineering education has become a popular mode for individuals, enterprises and schools. Strengthening the cooperation between schools and enterprises to cultivate master of engineering can realize the complementary advantages of universities and enterprises, help improve the shortage of teaching resources in universities, promote teaching reform, improve teaching quality and better carry out scientific research; It is conducive to solving the problem of lack of theory of employees in enterprises and providing theoretical guarantee for enterprises to improve technology and innovation.
