This painting is composed in the form of a horizontal scroll. The river is calm, the mountains are snowy and the mountains are majestic. It can be seen that the river swells and the shore is sparsely populated, so that the whole picture is still full of vitality and moving smoothly and quietly. For example, Cai Jing's inscription at that time said: "The water is far from waves, the mountains are bright, the tourists are depressed, the drums are flowing, the sails are flying in the sky, and the snow river is dead." This painting has the title of Evonne's thin gold book: "Snow River Back to the Map. Xuanhe monarchy. " There is also the cursive script "One Man under the Sun".
Zhao Ji of Song Huizong showed the rural scenery after the snow in the form of long scrolls. The book is wide and empty. After the Mid-Autumn Festival, the scenery becomes more and more dense, and the mountains crisscross back and forth. River slopes are looming, dotted with buildings, cottages, bridges, plank roads and people's activities. The pen is so careless that it is wonderful. At the top left of the scroll, there is Evonne's fine gold inscription "Snow River Return to Mountain", and at the end of the scroll, there are "Xuanhe Temple System" and "One Man under the World".
