The main courses are: heat transfer, engineering thermodynamics, fluid mechanics; Theoretical mechanics, material mechanics, electrical and electronics, programming, computer software foundation, microcomputer principle and interface technology, engineering economics, engineering drawing, mechanical design foundation, engineering material foundation, control engineering and testing technology. Professional platform courses include power machinery engineering foundation, environmental protection and energy saving. Professional courses are divided into three modules: thermal power and control engineering, fluid machinery and refrigeration cryogenic engineering, internal combustion engine and automobile engineering, including: boiler principle, thermal turbine machinery principle, power station system and equipment; Fluid machinery principle, positive displacement compressor principle, refrigeration principle and device, low temperature principle and device; Internal combustion engine principle, internal combustion engine structure, automobile structure, automobile theory, etc. Students can choose a set of specialized courses and an optional course within a certain range. Multiphase fluid mechanics and its measurement have been widely used in a series of projects such as electric power, chemical industry, petroleum, refrigeration and aerospace. Multiphase fluid mechanics is a relatively young discipline and an important branch of fluid mechanics, with a history of only a few decades. This paper mainly studies the flow pattern, flow resistance, flow stability, mixing, separation and distribution uniformity of various fluids when they flow in parallel tubes or outside tubes (with or without heat transfer). These flow mechanisms and multiphase fluid measurement technologies are international frontier topics with broad development space and innovative fields. It has important theoretical and practical significance for developing modern or future innovative projects, and can achieve important economic benefits.

Lin Zonghu, academician of China Academy of Engineering, male, born in Xing Wu, Zhejiang, 1933. 1957 graduated from jiaotong university, majoring in boiler. 1980- 1982 was a visiting professor at the university of Miami. He is currently a professor in the Department of Thermal Engineering of Xi Jiaotong University, a doctoral supervisor in thermal engineering, a judge of the National Science and Technology Award Jury, a director of the Academic Committee of the National Engineering Research Center for Fluid Machinery, a member of the Academic Committee of the National Engineering Research Center for Clean Combustion of Boiler Medium, an expert of the Hong Kong Accreditation Service, a member of the State Key Laboratory of Multiphase Flow in Power Engineering, a deputy director of the Boiler Professional Committee of the China Electrical Engineering Society and a vice chairman of the China Engineering Thermophysics Society. Director of Multiphase Flow Professional Committee of China Society of Engineering Thermophysics, Vice Chairman of Shaanxi Society of Engineering Thermophysics, Deputy Director of Shaanxi Institute of Metrology and Testing, and Deputy Editor-in-Chief of China Journal of Engineering Thermophysics: International Consultant of> Journal. He is a famous expert at home and abroad in the fields of thermal energy engineering, gas-liquid two-phase flow and heat transfer, multiphase flow measurement and so on. 1988 was awarded the title of young and middle-aged scientific and technological expert with outstanding contributions by the state; 1989 was awarded the title of outstanding scientific and technological worker in Shaanxi province; 1994 won the Wang Kuancheng Yucai Award.

Professor Lin Zonghu has made many pioneering achievements in the field of gas-liquid two-phase flow and heat transfer, an important theory of thermal energy, nuclear power and petrochemical industry. In terms of gas and liquid, the two-phase flow formula of orifice flowmeter created by him can be used for various pressures, different components, various two-phase fluids and variable pressure conditions, and is recommended as the best formula in the world, called Lin formula, which has been included in six books at home and abroad and has been cited dozens of times. Firstly, he systematically studied the pressure drop pulsation mechanism of two-phase fluid in U-tube, established its calculation program and pulsation discrimination method, and solved the serious pulsation problem of utility boiler. He created three calculation methods of two-phase friction and a formula for calculating steam content in cross section, which were widely used. In the aspect of boiling heat transfer, the first calculation formula of boiling heat transfer under pulsating flow is established in the world, which can be used for smooth tubes and various enhanced heat transfer tubes, opening up a new direction of heat transfer research. The research results of subcooled boiling heat transfer and steady flow boiling heat transfer have been obtained. In the aspect of multiphase flow measurement: based on Lin formula, the international problem of simultaneous measurement of two-phase flow and component parameters with one component was solved for the first time, and it was patented and applied, with remarkable economic benefits.

Up to now, Professor Lin Zonghu has won the third prize of the National Natural Science Award, the first prize of the Scientific and Technological Progress Award of the State Education Commission, 12 other provincial and ministerial-level scientific and technological awards, and 4 China patents. He has published 15 books at home and abroad, among which the first author has nine books, such as Characteristics of Gas-liquid Two-phase Flow in Pipes and Its Engineering Application, Enhanced Heat Transfer and Its Engineering Application, Measurement of Gas-liquid-solid Multiphase Flow, Gas-liquid Two-phase Flow and Boiling Heat Transfer, Process in Boiler and Boiler Test. He used to be secretary of the Party branch, deputy director of teaching and research section, dean, vice president, deputy director of science and technology department and director of technology achievement transfer center. He is currently the director of the Department of Thermal Energy Engineering, the director of the Boiler Research Institute, the member of the teaching steering committee of electromechanical specialty in national universities and the secretary of the steering group of thermal energy engineering specialty, the director of Shaanxi Mechanical Engineering Society, the chairman of the power engineering sub-committee, and the deputy secretary-general of China Engineering Thermophysics Society. Zhuang Zhengning, male, born in Shanghai,1June 1952, professor. 1982 graduated from Xi Jiaotong University with a bachelor's degree in industrial thermal energy engineering. 1992 obtained a master's degree in thermal energy engineering from Xi Jiaotong University. Courses such as Boiler Principle, Boiler Technology, Boiler Layout and Calculation, Energy Saving and Environmental Protection are offered to undergraduates. He has undertaken and completed more than 20 scientific research projects, held 3 patents, published more than 20 academic papers and edited books 1 book. Two graduate students have been trained and four are currently studying. He used to be the director of thermal engineering department, and now he is the deputy director of thermal engineering department.

His main research interests are multiphase flow and heat transfer, energy conversion and utilization, environmental science and engineering.

Dong Wang, born in 1960, is an associate professor. 1982 graduated from Xi' an jiaotong university, majoring in thermal energy of power plants; 1982 studied under Academician Lin Zonghu of Xi Jiaotong University; 1985 obtained a master's degree. From 1995, he studied for a doctor's degree on the job and obtained a doctor's degree in 2000. Long-term commitment to the research of multiphase fluid flow measurement technology, has obtained 6 patents in this field, published related research papers 12, co-authored a monograph, won the second prize of scientific and technological progress of the State Education Commission, and won two scientific research achievement awards of Xi 'an Jiaotong University. During the research, we actively cooperated with Shengli, Liaohe and other oil fields to apply the research results to production practice. The wet steam flowmeter and the underground steam absorption profile tester of the invention have been applied in oil fields.

This paper mainly studies the flow and heat transfer law of multiphase fluid in thermal power, petroleum, chemical industry, nuclear energy and environmental engineering. Mainly includes the following aspects:

He is currently a member of the High Temperature Materials and Strength Committee of China Mechanical Engineering Society, the Material Committee of China Power Engineering Society and the Industrial Boiler Branch of China Boiler Standardization Technical Committee.

Wang Shuzhong, male,/kloc-0, born in June 1968, is an associate professor. 1990, 1993 and 1996 obtained the bachelor's degree, master's degree and doctor's degree in thermal energy engineering from Xi Jiaotong University respectively. 1998 to 1999, went to the Norwegian Institute of Energy Technology (IFE) as a postdoctoral fellow. Since 1990, he has been engaged in the teaching and scientific research of thermal energy engineering, multiphase flow and heat transfer. He has participated in the research of many national, provincial and subordinate funds and horizontal projects, published more than 20 related academic papers, won the scientific and technological achievement award of Xi 'an Jiaotong University ("slug flow technology research"), and has a national patent as an independent inventor, and developed the first steady-state computer simulation software reflecting the multiphase transportation characteristics of oil, gas and water in China.
