On the Importance of Achievement
Send papers, exams, papers, grade, cheer or sigh, be happy or sad, be happy or depressed. But how important are grades?

Many people say that "achievement is not a ruler to measure learning, and it is not important." But who did it? Aren't so many parents happy that their children did well in the exam, but angry and disappointed that they didn't?

I remember that time, the English exam was particularly difficult, and the highest score in our class was only 85. I broke my own record. I got more than 70 points in the first exam. Although it is 79, almost 80 by one point, it is still a big blow to me, a student who has been getting an A. When I get home, I inevitably bow my head in the face of my parents' disappointed eyes and even angry faces.

They say grades are not important. Who really thinks grades are not important? Most people are unhappy when they go to school in the afternoon. How important are grades?

Another time, I got the first place in the exam. My parents were very happy when I went home. My mother also promised to buy me some more books, saying that she won the first prize in the exam. Of course, I am also very happy, but when I am happy, I can't help thinking about an important question. How important are grades?

Achievement is not a ruler to measure learning, but who really doesn't care about achievement? I sometimes envy foreign teachers, because in foreign countries, whoever is in front of whom will not be behind because of the gap of a few tenths. There are always only a few English letters on the report card there, A is excellent, B is good, C is passed, and D is failed. How nice!

How important are grades? Who can answer that?
