On getting rid of internet addiction
2011September 2007 17 years old, I was sent by my parents to the special training department of Wu Wen Internet Addiction School in Yulin City. Although the journey from Wuzhou to Yulin is not far, it is the first time that I left my parents' side. I have never been so far away, and I have never been away from home for so long. In the first week of school, I may be new here, clumsy and introverted. In retrospect, everything went wrong! However, there are bright spots in the darkness: the coach found that I learned to fold quilts faster than others and learned them two or three times! This inspired me. In the third week, I have gradually become familiar with the environment here. I am more and more relaxed physically and mentally, with an involuntary smile on my cheeks, and I am more involved in queue training than other students: I am secretly surprised-there are more interesting things than surfing the Internet! It seems that I suddenly found that there are so many things worth learning. A month passed, and I unconsciously became a student who laughed heartily and was deeply loved by the teacher. My father called my teacher and said that he had never seen me smile at home. The teacher looked at me and felt incredible. I also realized that compared with the "I" in the past, I was completely different! In order to be angry with my parents for forcing me to go to school, I locked myself in my room for a month (except eating and urinating) and spent seven or eight hours in front of the computer every day. Am I really addicted to online games? I almost doubt my memory. Two months have passed, and the ups and downs of the new life of quitting Internet addiction have filled the emptiness brought by the past Internet addiction. The friendship between teachers and students makes me miss the new lifestyle of quitting Internet addiction here more and more, and I feel my image is getting more and more sunny. Hunan Satellite TV's "Deformation Meter" program group sent a letter to the school, hoping to choose some students from our school, and the leader chose me, hoping that the dream would come true!
