Blind evaluation of dissertations refers to a system of organizing expert group evaluation, which refers to the "double-blind" evaluation of personal basic information such as graduate students' names, tutors and evaluation experts during the submission and evaluation of dissertations. Generally, there are three off-campus peer experts who make blind comments on dissertations.
The blind evaluation system is to send dissertations without the author's name to experts who can't know the author for evaluation, so the score should be the most objective. Before the blind examination of dissertations, graduate students must complete the training requirements, pass the graduation qualification examination, academic misconduct detection of dissertations and pre-defense.
Blind evaluation of graduate dissertations must be approved by the tutor. After the approval of the college, the college (institute) will sort out the electronic dissertations and other materials according to the submission requirements and submit them to the graduate school for unified submission.
Where can I check the blind test results of my dissertation?
The results of blind examination for master's thesis will be received in about 20 working days, and those of doctoral thesis will be received in about 35 working days. The graduate school will inform the school (institute) as soon as possible. If you don't receive feedback, the expert review is not over. Please be patient.
The results of blind examination of dissertations can be divided into four types: agreeing to reply, directly replying after revision, resubmitting after revision and disagreeing to reply. Among them, "agreeing to reply" and "directly replying after modification" are deemed to have passed the blind trial, while "resubmitting after modification" and "disagreeing to reply" are deemed to have failed the blind trial.
