Application of Appreciation Education in College Physical Education

Appreciation education, as an educational method, focuses on discovering the advantages of students. Teachers should encourage students with appreciation in teaching activities, so that students' self-confidence can be improved to the greatest extent, thus stimulating each student's potential. 1. Cultivate students' self-confidence

Self-confidence is an indispensable factor for the healthy development of personality. It is not only the degree of people's recognition of themselves, but also the comparison of people's cognition of the environment and psychological cognition. Among them, students' self-confidence comes from the effective trust of teachers. For students, after hearing the teacher's praise, they will have more confidence in their studies and even get better grades.

2. Cultivate students' learning motivation

In psychology, it is generally believed that the core of intrinsic motivation is "cognitive motivation". Such a formal dynamic opportunity has produced a driving force to a great extent, not only the driving force of pursuing information, but also the driving force of learning activities themselves. Through appreciation education, students can be constantly rewarded, thus better stimulating their learning motivation. What we need to pay attention to is that rewards have an inherent guiding role in the learning process, guiding students to develop and progress in a benign direction.

For college students, personality tends to mature. At this stage, college students' consciousness is still developing, and they are young, which will inevitably show some contradictions in their emotions. Teachers should praise the different characteristics of students' emotional changes. For example, some students have a strong interest in basketball, football, volleyball and other ball games and have many years of experience. They will get high marks when evaluating their grades, and they will certainly be elated. Such students should be praised and appreciated, so that students can analyze their own situation from another angle and recognize their further development direction. In fact, for the subject of physical education, students' physical qualities are different, and everyone's favorite application items are different, so it is easy to be graded. As a physical education teacher, we need to pay attention to the dynamic changes and development needs of students in time. Once there is an emotional blind spot in the development of a classmate, it is necessary to analyze and encourage it in time.

On the contrary, if the teacher can nod slightly, give a thumbs up, or give an approving look, he can express his appreciation.

And the tenacity and persistence shown by athletes on the field is not a serious beauty! From the performance point of view, whether it is the Olympic Games, Asian Games, National Games, People's Games, etc. At the opening ceremony, you can see a variety of art programs. Art and sportsmanship complement each other and bring new vitality to life. Through the development of physical education, students can be brought into a world full of dynamic and harmonious beauty, and their thinking has entered an optimal period. For example, when teachers introduce the national table tennis to students through images and movies, students are encouraged to express their views or demonstrate the corresponding actions. This can not only teach students how to play table tennis, but also convey patriotism and competitive spirit, so that students can learn with passion and full spirit.

An important prerequisite for the implementation of appreciation education is to explore the advantages of students with the eyes of discovery. If teachers can't discover the advantages of students in time, then the value of appreciation education can't be highlighted. As far as physical education teaching in higher vocational colleges is concerned, teachers can discover students' advantages through their behaviors and language dialogues. Physical education teachers should fully trust their students, believe that students have positive enthusiasm and constantly stimulate their motivation to work hard. It is worth mentioning that even if some students have poor reaction ability and can't accept new things at the first time, they still need encouragement. In education and teaching activities, teachers can often provide students with a platform to show themselves, so that every student has the opportunity to show his dreams and give comments in time after the students finish their actions. Specifically, in each physical education class class, the teacher can find one or several students to lead other students to do warm-up exercises. Of course, because some students are introverted and don't like to talk, teachers should give more encouragement and give him more opportunities. Teachers should fully believe that their students can reach their due heights.

Respect students' differences.

In fact, respecting students can reflect a teacher's ideological and moral quality and professional ethics to a great extent. However, under the influence of traditional exam-oriented education, it is not difficult to see that many teachers will criticize students in class to achieve the purpose of education. This method not only fails to achieve the purpose of education, but also brings negative effects to a great extent, causing great trauma to students' minds. In the long run, students will hate physical education class.
