Mainly engaged in the research of probability theory and information theory. He has published more than 100 papers independently or in cooperation with others, including 24 sci papers and 5 ei/kloc-0 papers. In 2003, he was awarded as the doctoral supervisor of system engineering major in Jiangsu University. Recently, a National Natural Science Foundation (1057 1076) and a National Natural Science Foundation (7057 1030) have been completed.

Mainly from the following aspects:

1, nonhomogeneous Markov chains and the law of large numbers of Markov random fields.

2. Study on the strong limit theorem of arbitrary random variables.

3. Research on strong deviation theorem.

4. Research on entropy theory in information theory.
