This paper studies the design of Linux digital broadcasting server software based on embedded platform, which is an embedded system technology. It introduces the new application of ARM platform and embedded Linux operating system, and analyzes the design of communication server combining Linux TCP communication principle with Socket multithreading programming and TCP data transmission protocol. On this basis, the server program is transplanted to the development board, and the communication program in the serial communication of the development board is realized
