Application of Zheng in Han Yuefu

Yuefu was an official position in the ancient court of China. Its main duty is to collect folk songs. Collecting poetry? . Poems collected by Yuefu in the Han Dynasty, of course, also included the capital Qin Zhong and Qin Di. There are many records in Ban Gu's Hanshu. For example:

When Liang Wudi decided to sacrifice in the suburbs, he left Yuefu and read poetry at night. There are Zhao, Dai, Qin and Chu. (Rites and Music)

Since the Book of Filial Piety, Yuefu has mostly used ballads, so Zhao, not Liu, and the wind of Qin and Chu are all caused by funeral music. You can also observe the customs and know the thickness. (Records of Literature and Art)

Huainan Liu Huai Nan Zi also said:

The songs of Qin, Chu, Yan and Zhao are all different and enjoyable.

The first three quotations clearly tell us. Fu Qin, Qin Feng and Qin Ge were the only Qin people collected from the people in the Han Dynasty. Its details are explained in Hanshu and Yuefu Poetry. For example, Hanshu? The poems of the Qin Dynasty collected from the people are as follows: Zuo Fengyi? 3 poems by Qin Ge; "JingZhaoYin? Qin Song collected 5 pieces; 75 "Zhou Yao Koch"; How many Longxi songs and poems? * * * More than 80 articles, accounting for more than half of all 160 articles. It shows the unique position of the imperial city. (Press: Zuo Fengyi, that is, today's Dali area, near Jingzhao and Xi 'an; The area around Fengjing Haojing and Yongdu in the Zhou Dynasty, that is, Fengxiang, Qishan, Fufeng and Huxian today)

There are 829 artists in Han Yuefu, 440 of whom were banned by Kong Guang, the prime minister. Among them are 33 artists from the Qin Dynasty. Qin advocates 29 people? ("Han Shu? Li Lezhi "). ? Qin advocates one person? ("Han Shu? Li Lezhi), accounting for one-third of the total. According to this figure, Qin artists should account for more than half. It is also conceivable that they are familiar with the music, dance and instrumental music of the Qin Dynasty.

What are the tunes used in music, dance and poetry in Han Yuefu? What position and weight does it occupy? Xiao Difei, an expert on Yuefu studies and a professor at Shandong University, made an in-depth investigation and discussion on this in the first chapter of his early dissertation "History of Yuefu Literature in the Han, Wei and Six Dynasties" (People's Literature Publishing House, new edition in March, 1984). Right to quote the following nine paragraphs, in order to save my textual research, he said:

There must have been a kind of piano song in Yuefu at that time.

It is doubtful that the three sounds of clear, flat and astringent come from three fat or are related to three fat.

Mr. Xiao also learned from the harmony songs contained in Yuefu Poems that the musical instruments they used were as follows:

First, harmony and music. Its musical instruments are sheng, flute, drum, musical instrument and pipa.

Second, the flat tone. There are seven musical instruments: Sheng, Di, Zhu, Qin, Zheng and Pipa.

Third, clear the tune. There are eight kinds of musical instruments: Sheng, Di, (the upper, middle and lower structure of bamboo factory tiger), Jie, Qin, Qi, Zheng and Pipa.

Fourth, the tune is played. There are seven musical instruments: Sheng, Di, Nong, Jie, Qin, Qin, Zheng and Pipa.

Fifth, Chu tune. Its musical instruments are Sheng, Di, Nong, Jie, Qin, Zheng and Pipa.

This fact tells us that Zheng accompanied four of the five tunes in "The Song of Harmony" in Han Yuefu. Especially from the world? Green, flat and color? It is worth noting that the three tones of * * are used together with the Zheng. His works include The Narrow Evil in Chang 'an in the Qing Dynasty, Westbound Longxi and Orphan's Journey in the Se Dynasty, which are more obvious in Shaanxi opera and use nature. They may also be the zither music of the Han Dynasty, or are they for that era? New voice? .

In this way, it is no exaggeration to say that Qin Zheng's dominant position in Han Yuefu is certain. It is a kind of artistic style that can be generous and good at lyric and freehand brushwork, which won wide welcome and attention in Qin Dynasty. It is also naturally adopted as the main accompaniment instrument or leading instrument of Yuefu poetry. Qin Zi has eloquently explained this fact? Take back the Zheng? Since then, not only did the imperial court fail to stop using the Zheng, but it was still the world of Zheng among the people. ;
