He was once rated as an outstanding out-of-school educator in Shanghai, won the first prize of the production designer of the National Primary and Secondary School Painting and Calligraphy Competition of the Ministry of Education, the first prize of the National Art Teacher Art Competition, and the certificate of "World Famous Painter" issued by the International Artists Federation. He is good at decorative painting and has made great achievements in artistic creation. He has held "Hu Weiwei Decorative Art Exhibition" in China Art Museum, Zhenjiang Painting Academy and Shanghai.
