Classical Chinese of Grade Two, Ma Shuo, Humble Room Inscription, Story of Nuclear Ship, Movable Edition.
Ma Shuo Han Yu

Where there is Bole, there is a swift horse. A thousand miles away, there are not many boles. Therefore, although there is a famous horse, it is humiliated by a slave, and it is not called a thousand miles to die in a trough.

A horse can travel thousands of miles, and a stone can eat it all. Horse eaters don't know that they can eat thousands of miles. This is a horse. Although it has the ability to travel thousands of miles, it looks beautiful only because of lack of food and physical strength, and it can't compete with an ordinary horse at all. Let's hope it can travel a thousand miles.

If you don't follow its path, you can't make full use of your food, but you can't understand it If you implement your strategy, you will face it and say, "There are no horses in the world." Oh! Are you sure you don't need a horse? I really don't understand horses!

The translation is as follows:

Ma Shuo Han Yu

Only when there is Bole in the world can there be a swift horse. There are often swift horses, but Bole is not often. Therefore, even a vigorous horse can only be humiliated by servants and die in the stable with ordinary horses, and will not get the title of swift horse.

A horse that walks thousands of miles a day may eat a stone of grain at a meal. People who feed horses don't know how to feed them according to their ability of thousands of miles a day. Although such a horse has the ability to travel thousands of miles a day, its talent and good quality will not be shown if its food intake and physical strength are insufficient. If it is impossible to be on an equal footing with an ordinary horse, how can it be required to travel thousands of miles every day?

Push it. If you don't feed it in the right way, you can't let it give full play to its talents. Listen to its bray, but don't understand its meaning. Stand in front of it with a whip and say, "There is no swift horse in the world!" Alas! Is there really no maxima? In fact, they really don't know maxima!

Humble room inscription author: Liu Yuxi

Original text:

The mountain is not high, and the fairy is famous. The water is not deep, and the dragon is the spirit. I am a humble room, but I am virtuous. The moss on the stage is green, and the curtain grass is green. There is no Ding Bai who laughs and has a university. You can tune the pipa and read Jin Dian. There is no confusion, and there is no complicated form. Zhuge Lu in Nanyang and Ting Yun Pavilion in West Shu. Kong Ziyun: "What's the matter?"

Translated text:

The mountain doesn't have to be high, it's famous and immortal. The water doesn't have to be deep. For dragons, this is supernatural. Although this is a humble house, it's just that my personality is beautiful (so I don't feel humble). Moss is green, growing on the steps, and grass is green, reflected in the curtains. I talk and laugh with learned people, and there is no such thing as ignorant people. You can play simple guqin and read precious Buddhist scriptures. No loud music disturbs your ears, and no official documents make you physically and mentally exhausted. Just like Zhuge Liang's thatched cottage in Nanyang and Yang Ziyun's porch pavilion in West Shu. Confucius said, "What is so simple?"

In the Ming Dynasty, there was an ingenious man, Wang Shuyuan, who could make palaces out of wood with a diameter of inches. Vessels, figures, even birds, animals, wood and stones had their own modality regardless of the occasion. I tasted a nuclear ship and covered the red cliff cloud of Dasu.

The length of the ship is about eight minutes and the height can be two meters. The porch in the middle is a hut, and the canopy covers it. There are small windows on the side, four on the left, four on the right and eight on the * *. When you open the window, the carved columns are opposite. When you close it, the right side is engraved with "The mountain is high and the moon is small, and the water comes out", and the left side is engraved with "The breeze is Xu Lai, and the water waves are stagnant", and the stone is green.

There are three people sitting in the bow. Dongpo is the one with the highest crown and the most beards. Fo Yin is on the right and Lu Zhi is on the left. Su Huang * * * read the first volume; Dongpo's right hand holds the tail and his left hand caresses Lu Zhi's back; Lu Zhi held the end of the book in his left hand and the book in his right hand, saying something. Dongpo's right foot, Lu Zhi's left foot, around his body; Relative to the two knees, each knee is hidden in the bottom pleat. Fo Yin is a unique Maitreya Buddha, showing her breasts topless and holding her head high. Her expression does not belong to Su Huang. Lying flat on your right knee, punting on your right arm, standing on your left knee and leaning on your left arm, you can count pearls vividly.

The stern is horizontal. There is a boat on each side. The man who lives on the right has a spine bun on his back, his left hand leans against a balance beam, and his right hand climbs his right toe, which makes him scream. The person who lives on the left holds a banana fan in his right hand and touches the stove in his left hand. There is a pot on the stove, and their eyes are silent. If they listen to the sound of tea.

When the back of the ship was slightly reduced, it was engraved with an inscription, saying, "It's the beginning of heaven and autumn, and the book of the king of Yushan is carved far away." As thin as a mosquito's foot, it is painted with a hook and the color is ink. He also used a seal chapter, which read "Chupingshan people" and its color Dan.

Take the boat as a whole: five people, eight windows, one canopy, one stove, one pot, one hand roll and one rosary; The characters used in couplets, titles and seals are * * * 30 and 4; However, when it comes to its length, it is not enough. It was made by those who built a simple peach pit and trimmed it. When cabbage finished his detailed prediction, he said, hey! The skill is also very strange! According to Zhuang and Li, many people say that they are still afraid of ghosts and gods, but who will realize this? If you give me a wrong answer, I will doubt it. I saw what i saw. From the point of view of the cave, the end of the thorn is not necessarily a female monkey. Hey! The skill is also very strange!

Translation of < nuclear ship >

In the Ming Dynasty, there was a very handy man named Wang Shuyuan, who could carve houses, utensils, figures, birds, animals, trees and stones from wood with a diameter of one inch. He didn't imitate the shapes of these things, didn't follow the original appearance of wood, and each one had its own shape. Wang Shuyuan once gave me a boat carved with peach stones. Originally carved is Su Dongpo's boat trip to Chibi.

The ship is more than eight minutes long from beginning to end, about two meters high. The high and open part in the middle is a hut covered with a canopy made of bamboo leaves. There is a small window next to it, four on the left, four on the right and eight on the left. Open the window, and the carved railings are opposite. Close the window, and see the inscription "The mountain is high and the moon is small, the truth is clear" on the right, and the inscription "The breeze is Xu Lai, the water is quiet" on the left. The inscription is drawn by azurite.

There are three people sitting in the bow. The man with a tall hat and many beards in the middle is Su Dongpo, with Fo Yin on his right and Lu Zhi on his left. Su Dongpo and Huang Lu Zhi look at a painting and calligraphy banner together. Su Dongpo's right hand holds the right end of the calligraphy and painting banner, and his left hand gently presses Lu Zhi's back. Lu Zhi left hand holding the end of the banner, right hand pointing to the calligraphy and painting banner, as if to say something. Su Dongpo showed his right foot, Huang Luzhi showed his left foot, each leaning slightly, and two knees close to each other were hidden in the folds under the banner of calligraphy and painting. Fo Yin is very much like Maitreya Buddha. He opened his heart, exposed his chest and looked up. His expression has nothing to do with Su Dongpo and Huang Luzhi. Fo Yin put his right knee flat, bent his right arm and supported it on the boat, and erected his left knee. His left arm leans against his left knee and hangs rosaries, which are clearly counted.

There is an oar at the stern. There is a boatman on the left and right sides of the paddle. The man on the right wears a cone-shaped bun, with his face up, his left hand leaning against a crossbar, and his right hand pulling the toes of his right limb, as if shouting. The boatman on the left holds a palm leaf fan in his right hand and touches the stove in his left hand. There is a pot on the stove. The man's eyes are looking at the tea stove with a calm look, as if listening to whether the tea is boiling.

The back of the ship is slightly flat and its name is engraved on it. Those words are "the apocalypse is in autumn, and the book of King Yushan has just been engraved". (handwriting) as small as a mosquito's foot, with clear hook, clear picture and black color. There is also a seal engraved with the words "Chu Pingshan people" and the color is red.

A total of five people were carved on a boat; Eight window carvings; A awning carved with leaves, paddles and stoves; Carve with a teapot, carve calligraphy and painting banners, and carve rosary; Couplets, titles and seal scripts are engraved with 34 words * * *. However, it is less than an inch long. It was originally carved from a long and narrow peach stone. Gee, the technique is really clever and wonderful.

Trapdoor

Printed books (1) were not filled with books (2) by the Tang Dynasty. The Five Classics began to be printed in the Five Dynasties, and all the classics were printed on the blackboard.

In the celebration calendar, there is a Bi Sheng in cloth, which is also a trap. In this method, the words are carved in clay, which is as thin as money lips, and each word is printed (1 1), and the fire is firm (12). First set up an iron plate, and spray resin, wax and (13) paper ash (14) on it. If you want to print, put an iron fan (15) on the iron plate with words printed on it. If you take the iron fan as a plate, it will burn (16). If the medicine (17) melts slightly, press it with a flat plate, and the words will be as flat as stone (18). If it is printed in triplicate (19), it will not be easy (20); If you print hundreds of thousands of copies (2 1), the speed will be extremely fast. I often make two iron plates, one is printed and the other is printed from (22). Only when this printer is finished, the second board has (23), which is mutually used (24) and can be used in an instant (25). Each word has several seals, such as "Zhi" and "Ye", and each word has more than 20 seals, in case there is duplication on one board. When not in use, use paper stickers (26), one for each rhyme, and store the wooden lattice (27). If there is an unguarded strange character (28), it can be achieved in an instant by carving it with rotation (29) and burning it with grass. If wood is not used as the material (30), the arts and sciences are dense (3 1), but it is uneven when it touches water, (32) it is not advisable to stick to medicine (33); Instead of burning earth (34), use fire (35) to melt the medicine, and brush it by hand, and its seal will automatically fall off without being contaminated by (36).

Ascending to death, its seal was obtained from (37) and has been preserved to this day.

Poetry translation

Printing books by block printing was not carried out on a large scale in the Tang Dynasty. It was not until the Five Dynasties that the Five Classics were printed by block printing. Since then, classic literature has been printed into books.

In the Qing Dynasty, Bi Sheng, a commoner, created movable type printing. His method is: lettering and printing with clay, as thin as the edge of copper coins. After carving, bake it with fire to make it hard and firm. Prepare an iron plate first, and spread turpentine, wax, paper ash and the like on it. When printing, put an iron frame on the iron plate, and then arrange the lettering one by one. When it is full, it can be counted as a version. Take it to the fire and bake it. When turpentine and wax are slightly melted, put them on the page with a flat plate and press them down, and the lettering will be as flat as a millstone. If only two or three copies are printed, it will not be easy; If you print dozens, hundreds or even thousands of copies, it will be soon. (Best) Always prepare two iron plates, one for printing and the other for typesetting. This one has just been printed, and that one has been typeset. These two printing plates can be used alternately, and printing can be completed in a short time. Each word has several seals, such as "Zhi" and "Ye", and each word has more than twenty seals, so that it can be used when it appears repeatedly in the same version. When not in use, paste the note as a mark, classify it according to rhyme, and put it in the wooden lattice respectively. Some uncommon words are not prepared at ordinary times, so they can be baked with grass fire at any time and will soon be put into use. The reason why we don't use wood for carving is because the texture of wood is uneven, and it will become uneven when it meets water. In addition, it will stick with turpentine and so on, so it can't be taken off. It's best to burn it with clay, and then bake it with fire after printing, so that things like turpentine can melt. When you touch it with your hand, the words naturally fall off and are not dirty at all.

After Bi Sheng's death, his seal was obtained by my cousins and nephews, and it has been well preserved so far.
