1. Basic information

Li Yuhong, female, born in February 1973, is an associate professor, tutor for master students, from Xichuan, Henan Province, and a member of China Horticultural Society and Cucumber Branch of Horticultural Society. 1995 graduated with a bachelor's degree, 1998 with a master's degree in biochemistry and molecular biology. He has been teaching there since July of the same year. In 2006, he graduated from Northwest A&F University majoring in vegetable science. In 2006, he was selected into the Young Academic Backbone Support Program of Northwest A&F University, and in 2007, he was selected into the Overseas Training Program of Young Backbone Teachers of the National Fund for Studying Abroad. August to 20, 200911Visiting scholar at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, USA. Won the second prize in the speech contest for young teachers of Northwest A&F University. He presided over 7 projects, including National Natural Science Foundation, Northwest A&F University's special fund for basic scientific research business expenses, the National Tenth Five-Year Plan Science and Technology Key Projects, the National Eleventh Five-Year Plan Science and Technology Support Projects, and the Young Academic Backbone Funding Projects.

2. Research direction

Mainly engaged in pollution-free production of vegetables, physiological and ecological basis and application of vegetable cultivation, pathogenesis and prevention of cucumber downy mildew, innovation and application of vegetable germplasm resources. In recent years, the creation of cucumber germplasm resources, the discovery of cucumber downy mildew resistance genes and resistance protein omics, and the inheritance and genomics of main agronomic characters of cucumber were studied emphatically.

Provide courses

Undertake courses such as introduction to horticulture, vegetable cultivation, seed engineering, horticulture seed science, horticulture skill training, etc.

4. Major academic achievements

Since 1998, he has been engaged in physiological, biochemical and molecular biology research of vegetable crops. Participated in and completed 3 projects of National Natural Science Foundation. He has presided over the support project for young academic backbones of Northwest A&F University, the National Tenth Five-Year Sub-project "Integration and Demonstration of Cucumber Pollution-free Cultivation Techniques" and the National Eleventh Five-Year Sub-project "Establishment of Facility Melon Quality Database Model and Expert System".

At present, he is mainly responsible for two general projects of the National Natural Science Foundation: "Expression analysis of proteins related to resistance to downy mildew infection in intercellular spaces and cell walls of cucumber leaves" and "Fine location, cloning and functional analysis of cucumber dwarf genes"; Northwest A&F University has a special fund 1 for basic scientific research and operating expenses, such as "protein omics study on the difference of resistance to downy mildew infection among cucumber leaf cells", and an international scientific and technological cooperation fund 1 for "Mining new cucumber germplasm with high resistance to downy mildew based on whole genome resequencing and molecular mapping".

5. Main academic works

Editor-in-chief of Vegetable Seed Physiology, Inspection and Processing (the textbook in the school), participated in the compilation of the 11th Five-Year Plan textbooks Introduction to Horticulture and Vegetable Cultivation (Science Press, 2009), and the science and technology book New Planting Technology in special vegetables (Northwest A&F University Press, China Agricultural Image Press, 2005).
