What are the viewpoints and reasons for abolishing the death penalty in China?
Regarding the abolition of the death penalty, I don't think it can be abolished at present, but from the perspective of philosophical development, the death penalty will be abolished one day.

Reason: The death penalty is a necessary means to punish evil and promote good, and it is an inevitable product of development in the current environment. If the death penalty is abolished now, a great society that does not need the death penalty to promote development will not develop. Why is it inevitable to abolish the death penalty? Because the death penalty is evil in the final analysis, a society that needs the death penalty to maintain development is deformed. Therefore, when mankind really develops to a certain height, we must abandon the death penalty. When the future law really lives in people's hearts and becomes everyone's code of conduct from the inside out, I think a society without law is a real legal society!
