Set the format;
Note that the titles at the same level here should be set in the same format; For convenience, create a new style for each level of title;
For example, after setting the format of "Introduction", select the introduction, right-click, select "Save the selected content as a new quick style" in the style, and name it "Title of the first category". Then, select other titles at the same level and set the format as "First Class Title".

We first define the title of the first level;
When setting the level, we should pay attention to the following options: the level to be displayed in the library, the link level to the style (here we choose the first-level title), the numbering style of this level, and the format of the input number. Note that in the format of the input number, you can insert the required words or symbols before and after the number. In this example, the words "Chapter" and "Chapter" are inserted.

Next, we define the second level;
Generally, we will number the secondary level as 1. 1, so we should first select 1 level in "The included level number comes from" and then select "This level number style is". In the middle, the numbering style "I. 1" in the figure will appear.

After setting up according to the previous steps, click OK, and you will find that the chapter titles of the paper have been numbered automatically according to the form we want! ^_^
