Yancheng Institute of Technology is a full-time undergraduate college in Jiangsu Province. It is located in Yancheng, a coastal open city with the reputation of "Oriental Wetland Capital and Hometown of Crane and Elk". It has two campuses: Jianjun East Road and Hope Avenue.

The school was formed by the merger of Yancheng Vocational and Technical College and Yancheng Vocational College. 1996. Yancheng Institute of Technology (formerly known as Yancheng Institute of Technology) was founded in 1958, and 1986 became one of the three national demonstration building materials higher industrial colleges. Yancheng Vocational College was founded in 1985. In 2000, Yancheng Accounting School, founded in 1964, was merged into Yancheng Institute of Technology.
