During the period of Emperor Wu of the Han Dynasty, a book written by Liu An, the king of Huainan, was called Huainanzi, also known as Huainanzi. This is a book about Taoist thought, also known as "Liu Anzi", which was written under the auspices of Liu An, the king of Huainan, the imperial clan of the Western Han Dynasty. According to the "Han Shu Yi Wen Shi" cloud: "There are twenty-one articles in Huainan and thirty-three articles outside", Yan Shigu notes: "Twenty-one articles in the book are probably the legacy of the original book. In high order, "red" means broad and "fierce" means bright. The author thinks that this book contains broad and distinct principles. The content of the book is complex, which combines Taoism, Yin and Yang, Mohism, Buddhism and some Confucianism, but the main idea tends to Taoism. Han Shu listed it as a sage's ambition. It is a collective work written by Liu An, King of Huainan in the Western Han Dynasty, and his disciples. Twenty-one chapters of Huai Nan Zi, whose real name is "Lie Hong", were collectively written by Liu An, king of Huai Nan in the Western Han Dynasty (BC 180 ~ BC 123). This book is a systematic and detailed summary of Taoist thoughts in the early years of the Western Han Dynasty, and it is an extremely valuable and rich material for studying Huang Lao's thoughts. There are many medical contents in the book, which are worth discussing and studying.
