1987 was admitted to China Youshi University (East China) majoring in applied chemistry from the second year of high school. At present, it is entering the field of unconventional oil and gas reservoirs and carrying out international cooperation. On the scientific research concept, the scientific research theme of "reservoir geology+oil production chemistry = high oil recovery" was created (using the principles and methods of geophysics, logging, petroleum geology and reservoir engineering, analyzing and understanding the reservoir, focusing on the heterogeneity of the reservoir, and based on the physical and chemical seepage mechanism, putting forward the technical scheme to improve the sweep efficiency and oil washing efficiency, and then optimizing the formula and technology, implementing it on site, increasing crude oil precipitation and improving crude oil recovery). What you lose is what you gain. Although you have been a lecturer for 14 years, during this period, you have established a profound chemical theoretical foundation and rich practical experience in oil and gas field development engineering. Grinding a sword for 20 years has laid the foundation for creating the direction of "great oil recovery" combining chemistry with reservoir geology.

He teaches the principles and engineering of enhancing oil recovery in English for graduate students, oilfield chemistry, chemical principle II, EOR principle for undergraduates, and principles of enhancing oil recovery and oilfield chemistry for foreign students. Professor Zhang Guicai has been assisted in guiding 1 graduate students (graduated from Tarim Oilfield Company) and Professor Ge Jijiang in guiding 3 graduate students (2 graduate students signed contracts with CNOOC and Xinjiang Oilfield Company).
