How to add footnotes to papers
Children's shoes that need to write a graduation thesis may wish to come in and study. The specific setting steps are as follows:

First, the paper notes.

How to set a page-by-page bet?

1, know where to take notes: your paper uses a certain point of view in a certain material; There is a term in your paper that comes from a certain document; Unfamiliar but important people, and so on. These situations need your comments.

2. click? Enter footnotes where comments are needed. Quote? , and then find the insert footnote. We chose to insert footnotes.

3. At this time, our cursor automatically jumps to the footer, which is where we insert the footnote. Do we see more in the body and footer? 1? This is the serial number of the footnote.

4. If you think the format of the footnote serial number is wrong, you need to click this position to open the footnote dialog box. Then select the numbering format.

5. Click on the small triangle on the right to see that there are many formats to choose from, and choose according to the format requirements of the paper.

6, know how to add footnotes, know the writing format of footnotes. The author lists the following format standards and examples:

Citation format of works: responsible person (with responsibility method if necessary): title and other title information (such as volume), other responsible person (such as translator), place of publication: publishing house, year of publication (with version number if necessary), and page number cited. Example: [1] Kong Feili: Calling for the Soul, translated by Chen Jian and Chang Lu, Shanghai: Shanghai Sanlian Bookstore, 1999, p. 207.

Periodical category: responsible person: title information such as article title, continuous publication title (periodical, newspaper) (place of publication of Chinese newspapers and periodicals published outside Chinese mainland), publication year, volume, issue or date, page number or edition (optional), and information of bound copies published by photocopying or other means. Example: [2] Q. Edward Wang: The 20th Century History of China and the Formation of Modern Western Historical Consciousness, New History (Taipei), Volume 9,No. 1 issue,No. 1998, pp. 55-82.

Foreign literature: the notes and sequence of works, the literature separated from works and the literature separated from serial publications are the same as those in Chinese, but English punctuation is required, that is, English commas are used between the responsible person and the title, the title of works is italicized, the title of separated documents is full text with English quotation marks, the publication date is marked with full name, and the responsibility method, volume and page number are abbreviated in English. For example, works: [1] Randolph stein and Loren partridge, The Art of Power: Three Italian National Halls, 1300- 1600, Berkeley: University of California at Berkeley, 1992, pp./. Translation: [2] M. Poirot, Travels of Marco Polo, translation. William Madden, Hertfordshire: Cumberland House, 1997, pp. 55 and 88.

Second, how to get references.

1. References need a separate page at the end of the paper to list the cited documents.

First, insert a page at the end of the article. Place the cursor in front of the reference, and then click Insert Page Break. Note that some papers do not require paging, so pay attention to the requirements of your own school.

3. List the references in the order cited in the paper, paying attention to the fact that the order of the references must not be wrong. The best way is that you write references at the same time as you write your paper, so that the order of references is the same as the order cited in the paper. In addition, the writing format of references is the same as footnotes. We refer to the example in step 6 above.

4. Format of references: each document is a natural paragraph, and each natural paragraph starts with a serial number, and the format is [1][2][3].

5. Adjust the font of each natural paragraph. The general font is Song Ti and the font size is Xiao Wu.
