2. Those who do have expertise in a certain professional field, such as achieving excellent results in national or provincial competitions, publishing professional papers with the first author in academic journals at or above the provincial level (including the provincial level), obtaining scientific and technological achievements or obtaining national patents, taking part in innovative practice or resuming studies after dropping out of school and obtaining corresponding results, and changing majors, can give full play to their expertise. When the above-mentioned students apply for changing majors (major categories), they need to provide relevant results or expert certificates, which will be reviewed and confirmed by the expert Committee organized by the school.
3. When applying to change majors, the grade points of all required courses specified in the professional talent training plan are 1.0 and above, and the record scores are D and above, and the courses are not marked as "Abandoned or Missed".
4. College soldiers can be transferred to other majors (categories) after they return to school after retiring, and they can be transferred to other majors (categories) with the consent of the school and the relevant procedures.
Other provisions of Suzhou University on changing majors.
Article 8 of the Implementation Measures of Suzhou University for Undergraduates to Change Majors shall not change majors under any of the following circumstances:
1. Not registered in the original admission school, registered to obtain a student status or enrolled for less than one semester;
2. From low academic level to high academic level;
3. At the time of enrollment, the state has clearly stipulated that students who can't change majors include national defense students, orientation students, art students, physical education students, Chinese-foreign cooperative education students and other majors. 4. Students with special admission types who did not participate in the national unified college entrance examination, including junior college and second bachelor's degree;
5. The next batch of professional applications in the college entrance examination admission batch will be transferred to a group of professional students;
6. Students who drop out of school should keep their school status and drop out of school;
7, credits have been completed (including elective credits) more than two-thirds of the total credits stipulated in the teaching plan;
