Swiss Pavilion of Shanghai World Expo

Overlooking the Swiss Pavilion from the air, its outline is the outline of an imaginary future world. The design takes the concept of sustainable development as the core and fully demonstrates how to creatively combine nature with high-tech elements. It is an open space, and the outermost curtain is mainly soybean fiber, which can generate electricity and degrade naturally. Overlooking the Swiss Pavilion from the air seems to be an imaginary future world, and the whole pavilion is an open space covered by curtains. This new curtain is made of soybean fiber, which can not only generate electricity, but also degrade naturally after exhibition. As a game element, the cable car can carry passengers to the top of the exhibition hall, as if escaping from the stressful modern city and coming to the pleasing natural world.

This design is selected from 104 scheme, showing a modern Swiss life concept with high-tech elements: pursuing Excellence, continuous innovation and pursuing high quality. At the same time, it also shows Switzerland's future-oriented and forward-looking concept of sustainable development, which echoes the theme of the World Expo "Better City, Better Life".
