Song Dynasty occupies a unique historical position in the history of China. The color in Song Dynasty embodies its historical and cultural value from the aspects of architecture, clothing, painting and ceramics. It is effectively applied to the color planning of urban buildings in China, so that towns can develop their own historical and cultural resources, establish a unique urban outlook, and make certain contributions to their service transformation.

I. Introduction
(A) Research background and necessity
China is developing rapidly, and the main industrial forms are gradually changing from industry and agriculture to service industry. Under the influence of this trend, many large and medium-sized cities in China are marching towards modernization and internationalization. For small towns, it is not advisable to learn from those developed cities blindly. The development of small towns should seek their own characteristics as the development point of service industry, and developing a unique image will be an effective way for small towns to transform into service industry.
Historically, the Song Dynasty was not the most prosperous period in China, but it was a period with typical color characteristics. The culture of Song Dynasty had a far-reaching influence on many countries and regions, and also left many valuable historical and cultural resources for modern China. How to use these historical and cultural resources to bring new value points to some towns with historical development value and enhance the image of towns is also an important way for towns to develop their own image.
(b) the purpose of the study
It is demonstrated that the use of Song color in architectural colors in cities with historical resources of Song Dynasty can improve the appearance of small towns, shape a unique city image, and provide color reference for the transformation of these small towns into service industries. At the same time, the samples after color extraction in Song Dynasty can not only guide the construction of town image, but also have strong guiding significance to other design fields.
Second, the color of the Song Dynasty
(A) the cultural resources of the Song Dynasty
Many cultural resources in the Song Dynasty had a great influence on China and even the world, among which architecture, costumes, paintings and ceramics were the most representative cultural products in the Song Dynasty, which had been influencing modern China. The paintings in the Song Dynasty are also very representative. Zheng Zhenduo once said in "Song People's Paintings" that "the history of China's painting must be centered on this moderns", and the painting in the Song Dynasty embodies unparalleled beauty in color. In addition, China ceramics is called "China" internationally, while China ceramics is the most famous in Song Dynasty. Therefore, the author takes architecture, clothing, painting and ceramics as the research objects to investigate the color of Song Dynasty.
(B) Song Dynasty color extraction
Collect a large number of pictures from related books, networks, objects, photos and other materials, and then classify, restore and extract these pictures according to architecture, clothing, painting and ceramics, and name them after NCS.
1. Methods of architectural color induction in Song Dynasty
Color extraction is carried out on hundreds of architectural pictures, and 5-8 main colors are extracted from each picture. The following table shows the color extraction results of some pictures. (Figure 1)
The extracted 1000 colors are sorted according to hue, lightness and purity, as shown in Figure 2.
Six colors with high occurrence rate are extracted, and other colors are ignored to get the architectural colors of Song Dynasty (Figure 3).
The color of architecture in Song Dynasty is steady and simple, elegant and elegant, which fully shows that this historical period was deeply influenced by Confucianism and Zen philosophy.
2. Color extraction of costumes, paintings and porcelain in Song Dynasty.
This method is applied to extract and analyze the colors of costumes, paintings and ceramics in Song Dynasty. The results show that the colors of the clothes in Song Dynasty are plain and simple, elegant and elegant, and the clothes are tasteful. The extraction results of painting colors in Song Dynasty are as follows (Figure 5).
In Song Dynasty, the painting color was mainly low lightness and pure color, and the painting changed from heavy color beauty to light color beauty. The composition of "ink painting" is gradually aggravated, mainly light, and the color pursues elegance, comfort and tranquility. The extraction results of ceramic colors in Song Dynasty are as follows (Figure 6).
In Song Dynasty, the colors of ceramics were mainly blue, cyan and purple, with moderate brightness and low purity. "Elegance" is the main feature of ceramic color in Song Dynasty.
Third, modern towns with cultural resources in the Song Dynasty.
In the history of China for hundreds of years, the Song Dynasty created a unique culture. This paper selects several towns closely related to the culture of Song Dynasty for research.
1. The capital of the Northern Song Dynasty (Bianliang), today's Kaifeng, Henan, has many famous buildings in the Song Dynasty. Secondly, the famous porcelain kiln in Song Dynasty, Jingdezhen in Jiangxi today, has a history of 1700 years, and Jingdezhen porcelain is world-famous. Third, the geographical location of the water margin, today's Jining, Shandong Province, is a famous scenic spot with the water margin culture as its main content.
Four. conclusion
In the changes of color culture in China, the color in Song Dynasty is the most special, though not the most brilliant. It combines the thought of "Zhu Cheng Neo-Confucianism" and embodies a light and simple color style, which coincides with the natural, refined, fresh and exquisite characteristics of small towns. For the towns engraved with the cultural features of the Song Dynasty in the historical torrent, combining architectural landscape color and Song Dynasty color in their image planning can more strongly reflect the cultural characteristics of the Song Dynasty and bring new value to the development of urban service industry.
