Beihang Flight Academy makes full use of Beihang's existing teaching resources. Compared with the original system of Beihang University, it has undergone major reforms in training mode, teaching plan, curriculum system and internal management, forming a unique training mode and school-running system. The main courses of Flight Academy are divided into six parts: basic courses, specialized basic courses, specialized theoretical courses, flight training courses, flight practice and graduation project. Basic courses include advanced mathematics, English and politics. Professional basic courses are mainly engineering mechanics, electrical and electronics, professional English and other courses; Professional theoretical courses are mainly comprehensive courses, including aircraft, engines, airborne equipment, aviation meteorology, pilotage, automatic flight control, maintenance and so on. Flight training courses include trainer flight course of Western Australia Flight Academy and simulator flight course of Zhuhai Flight Training Center. The flight practice is arranged in the branches of China Southern Airlines, and the graduation thesis is carried out according to the requirements of Beihang University. There are more than 30 lecturers in Flight Academy, all of whom are employed by other departments of Beihang University and foreign schools.
