How to annotate papers [1]
The method of marking with [1] is as follows:

Tools/raw materials: Lenovo rescuer y9000p, win 10 system, word20 19, etc.

1. First, open the word document to be referenced, and click the location where you need to add a reference.

2. Then click the References tab, and click the footnotes and endnotes.

3. Footnote and endnote setting boxes will pop up. Check the endnotes, check the square bracket style of the format, apply the changed settings to the whole document, and click Insert after setting.

4. After clicking Insert, insert a superscript [1] there, and the cursor will automatically jump to the end of the article, which is preceded by a superscript "[1]", which is where the first reference is entered.

5. Next, just click Insert Endnote under the Citation tab to add other references.

6. If you want to delete the horizontal line in front of the reference, click the reference tab above, and then click the footnote/endnote separator.
