It is understood that on May 19, Guangxi Marine Police Corps 12 conducted more than six hours of live ammunition drills at sea in Fangchenggang, Beihai and Qinzhou, Guangxi, including 30 naval guns, 14.5 machine guns, 12.7 machine guns, sniper rifles, squad machine guns and automatic rifles. The drill ended around 2 1 that night. Before the drill, the marine police also conducted sea formation training on the way to sea.
The 12 Guangxi Coast Guard ships participating in the drill performed well, with the hit rate of naval guns and shipborne high-speed machine guns reaching 70% and the hit rate of various light weapons reaching over 80%.
The second detachment of Guangxi Marine Police expressed the hope that by testing the effect of live-fire shooting training at sea, the attack power and coordination ability of warship formation weapons will be enhanced and the maritime security defense line will be built. Recently, the local marine police will focus on cracking down on maritime smuggling and illegal fishing in relevant sea areas.
