Graduation defense is an assessment method of graduation design (thesis).

(1) After completing the graduation project (thesis), students should submit all the materials to the tutor and reviewers for review within the specified time. Students who have passed the examination by the tutor should take part in the graduation defense.

(two), where the tutor suggested "failed" students, shall not participate in the graduation defense, graduation thesis as failed.

(three) students actually participate in the graduation thesis for less than two-thirds of the specified time, no score, no graduation defense, as the graduation thesis failed.

(four), graduation defense shall not be absent. For whatever reason, students who fail to take part in the graduation defense according to the published time will automatically give up and their grades will be recorded as "failing".

(5) When defending, students first introduce the task and purpose of the selected topic, the basic content, main ideas, methods and achievements of the completed graduation thesis, and the self-evaluation of the completed task.

(six), the defense team members should ask questions on the subject after the students introduce and comment on the students' achievements.

(7) The introduction time of students is generally about 10 minutes, and the question and answer time is about 20 minutes.

(eight), defense team members should make records.

(9) The members of the defense team evaluate the students' defense performance and fill in the graduation thesis defense score table.

Second, the graduation design thesis grading standard:

(a), graduation design (thesis) score * * * points "excellent", "good", "average", "pass" and "fail" five grades.

(2) Graduation design (thesis) grading: 40% is suggested by the tutor, 20% by the reviewer and 40% by the defense group, and the final grade is balanced and adjusted by the defense committee (the defense committee adjusts the grade according to the following principles: correcting deviation, resolving disputes, controlling, etc.).

(3) Students' scores shall be subject to the results officially announced by the Department's defense committee (the defense committee shall fill in the "graduation thesis defense review" carefully).

(4) The final grade of graduation project (thesis) is evaluated according to the following principles: those who are rated as "excellent" do not exceed 15% of the students who participated in the defense, those who are "good" do not exceed 60% of the students who participated in the defense, and there are also certain proportions of "medium" and "low".

Graduation design (thesis) specific scoring criteria are as follows:

1, excellent: able to abide by the graduation design (thesis) writing norms and progress well, with extremely serious writing attitude; Demonstrate strong innovative ability to analyze and solve problems; Excellent results in thesis defense.

2. Good: able to abide by the writing standards and progress of graduation thesis, and have a serious writing attitude; The design (paper) is correct in viewpoint, showing certain ability of analyzing and solving problems; The design and debugging have achieved certain results, and the design (thesis) defense has achieved good results.

3, medium: can abide by the graduation design (thesis) writing norms and progress; Theoretical derivation or experimental design debugging is acceptable; Written expression is ok, and the design (paper) defense score is ok.

4. Pass: basically abide by the writing standards and progress of graduation design (thesis), have basic achievements in theoretical derivation or experimental design debugging, and have average results in design (thesis) defense.

Score below 5.59: writing attitude is extremely serious, theoretical deduction or experimental design debugging is inconclusive, design (thesis) thinking is unclear, and design (thesis) defense is unqualified.
