Zhou Zhengmao, vice president of the Second Criminal Court of Shenzhen Intermediate People's Court, said that according to the seized online sales records, the value of drugs sold was 5.93 million yuan, and the amount involved in the whole case exceeded 10 million yuan.
The court held in the first instance that eight defendants, including Ji Weiwei and Chen Zhonghua, violated the national drug administration regulations, produced and sold counterfeit drugs, and had other particularly serious circumstances. They were sentenced to fixed-term imprisonment ranging from three to thirteen years and fined.
