On the evening of July 30th, xidian university Graduate School issued the "Announcement on Revoking the Master's Degree in Engineering from Lei Lei" through official website: There was a serious plagiarism in Lei Lei's master's thesis of part-time master's degree in computer technology in the School of Computer Science and Technology of our school. After deliberation and approval at the 20th meeting of the 9th academic degree evaluation committee University, it was decided to revoke Lei Lei's master's degree in engineering. The master thesis "Design and Implementation of Smart Home Lighting System" written by Lei Lei 20 1 1, a master of computer technology in xidian university College of Computer Science and Technology (hereinafter referred to as "Lei Lei Paper") is highly similar to the "Research and Development of Smart Home Lighting System" written by Wei Wu, a master of systems engineering in School of Control Science and Engineering, Zhejiang University (hereinafter referred to as "Wei Wu Paper") in 2006.

Among them, Lei Lei's paper was completed at 20110, and Wei Wu's paper was completed in May 2006, the former was more than five years later than the latter. It is found that the above two papers have great similarities in content, abstract, text, thanks and even references.

Then, on July 24th, official website of xidian university College of Computer Science and Technology issued the Circular on the Plagiarism of Lei Lei's Dissertation of Postgraduates in Class 201KLOC-0/Computer Technology Part-time Professional Degree in our College, which indicated that Lei Lei's master's degree in engineering was to be revoked and his degree certificate was to be cancelled and submitted to academic degree evaluation committee for consideration.
