The flexible academic system is implemented in the postgraduate training of this major, and the study period of full-time postgraduate students is two to four years, usually three years. Fourth, curriculum and credit requirements.
This master's degree course implements the credit system, and the course study time is generally 3 semesters, with a total credit of not less than 34 points (including 2 credits for academic activities and 2 credits for practical activities). The curriculum structure is divided into degree courses and non-degree courses. Degree courses include: political theory courses, foreign language courses, basic theory courses and professional courses; Non-degree courses include: professional elective courses and public elective courses. During the study period, every graduate student should listen to academic reports or attend academic conferences for not less than 10 times, and make academic reports in public for not less than 1 times. Otherwise, he cannot participate in thesis defense.
Graduate students should independently (or as the first author) publish at least 1 academic papers (excluding supplements, special issues, academic conference papers and collections, etc.). ) or published in the academic journal of law 1 this monograph (ranked in the top two) or has passed the appraisal of the application results at or above the provincial level (including the top three), with the first signature.
2. Practical activities
Practical activities include teaching practice, social practice and social investigation. Full-time graduate students should take part in the front-line work of teaching, the workload of teaching practice is not less than 36 hours, and the time is generally arranged in the second academic year. The forms of teaching practice can be lectures, tutoring, organizing classroom discussions, guiding experiments, guiding books, course papers for junior college students, and assisting in guiding undergraduate graduation papers. Among them, the number of undergraduate and junior college students is generally not less than 20 hours. Teaching practice is based on "passing".
Full-time graduate students should actively participate in social practice activities, and complete at least 1 high-quality social practice survey report before graduation thesis defense, otherwise they will not be able to participate in thesis defense.
3. Make-up course
Postgraduates with the same academic ability or cross-majors must make up 2-3 main courses of their major universities; Make-up lessons cannot replace the degree courses and elective courses of this major, which are not counted as credits, and shall be subject to passing the examination. Those who make up lessons or fail the exam will not be able to participate in the thesis defense.
V. Curriculum Evaluation and Performance Management
Postgraduates of this major must complete all training links according to the requirements of the professional training plan, take relevant exams, and those who pass the exams will get corresponding credits. The assessment results are recorded in the summary of results, and included in my file and degree file.
1, assessment is generally divided into examination and assessment. Professional degree courses adopt examination methods, and non-degree courses adopt examination methods or examination methods. Teaching practice, academic activities, social practice and other compulsory links are written by instructors and training units to evaluate their achievements.
The examination method can be written (open or closed), oral or a combination of oral and written examinations. The examination methods of degree basic courses and professional courses should include closed-book examination, and the proportion of closed-book examination results in the total course score should not be less than 50%. The assessment method shall be put forward by the teachers according to the characteristics of the course within two weeks after the start of the course and reported to the leaders in charge of the unit for approval.
2. The assessment of basic courses, specialized courses, non-degree elective courses and interdisciplinary elective courses of this major shall be uniformly deployed by the Graduate Office, and the assessment of public and non-degree elective courses shall be organized by the Graduate Office and this degree point.
3, the examination and assessment results according to the percentage system evaluation, teaching practice, academic activities and social practice and other compulsory aspects of the assessment results can be evaluated according to qualified or unqualified. Degree courses are 70% qualified, and non-degree courses are 60% qualified. Those who meet the qualification requirements can get credits, otherwise they can't get credits. Credits can be obtained through compulsory courses such as teaching practice, academic activities and social practice.
Courses that fail the examination should be re-taken. The same course may not be retaken more than 1 time.
4. If a graduate student cannot take the exam due to illness or other special reasons, he must apply before the exam. With the consent of the teacher and the approval of the competent leader of the college (the degree must be approved by the Graduate Office), the exam can be postponed.
Those who are absent from the exam without authorization will get a score of 0 and are not allowed to retake the exam.
5. If the graduate students violate the examination discipline or cheat in the examination, the examination results of this course will be invalid, and they will be criticized and educated according to the regulations of the school and given corresponding disciplinary action; Those who are given the following punishment of expulsion from school can be re-enrolled 1 time with the approval of the graduate school.
Sixth, the training link.
1. Make personal training plan for graduate students. After three months of freshmen's enrollment, graduate tutors and tutors should guide graduate students to make personal training plans according to the requirements of training plans. The training plan must be reviewed by the person in charge of the degree program, approved by the college leaders, and implemented after being reported to the graduate school for the record.
2. Conduct strict mid-term screening. In order to check the graduate students' learning and scientific research since their admission, find out the problems in the training process in time, seriously explore solutions, clarify the direction of future efforts, promote the graduate students to change from the course learning stage to the thesis writing stage, strengthen the supervision of the postgraduate training process, and ensure the quality of postgraduate training, this degree program will conduct a mid-term screening of graduate students at the beginning of the fourth semester, which will be completed before mid-April. In the process of screening, if the individual training plan cannot be completed on time, the graduate students who cannot meet the requirements of mid-term screening will be eliminated or diverted.
3, graduation qualification examination and degree granting qualification application
In April of the sixth semester, graduate students will apply to the school for graduation. The school will review the graduation qualifications of graduate students according to the training plan and personal training plan, and all graduate students who have completed the training plan and personal training plan can obtain the qualification for thesis defense. Only those who have passed the graduation qualification examination are eligible to apply for a master's degree.
Seven, graduation (degree) thesis work
1, topic selection
The topic of the thesis is jointly agreed by the tutor and the students. When choosing a topic, we should not only consider students' interests and characteristics, but also consider social needs and academic development, as well as the actual situation of graduate students. The topic selection of graduation thesis (degree) should be meaningful, the viewpoint should be innovative, the thinking should be clear, and the argument should be detailed and sufficient. We should adhere to the principle of depth but not breadth, and the topic should not be too big to ensure that the paper has a certain depth.

After the graduate students pass the mid-term screening, they should write the thesis work plan before the end of April in the fourth semester at the latest. Those who have completed the credits in advance may apply to the School of Political Science and Law and the Graduate Office. After being approved, they can start their thesis with their previous achievements. Graduation (degree) thesis takes more than one year from the opening argument to the thesis defense; Otherwise, you are not allowed to participate in thesis defense, and your degree will be postponed.
3. Mid-term examination paper
In the fifth semester of 65438+February, the tutor group will check the progress and completion of the thesis writing plan according to the opening report of the master's thesis, and strengthen the guidance for the problems existing in the thesis writing to ensure the smooth progress of the master's thesis work. The mid-term thesis examination must be completed in June+February, 5438, otherwise the school will not accept its application for defense.
4. Thesis review, defense and degree awarding.
Graduate students should submit theses and abstracts of Chinese and foreign literature three months before the defense, and the tutor should review the papers in time and put forward suggestions for revision.
Thesis defense and degree awarding are generally arranged from mid-May to early June of the graduation year, and the specific work is handled in accordance with the relevant provisions of the state and the Detailed Rules for the Granting of Master's Degree in Liaocheng University.
