The word speech can be divided into two parts, namely, acting and speaking:

Speech is not only a science, but also an art, which is the investment and expression of the whole life. But some speeches emphasize "acting" and others emphasize "speaking". Mao Zedong's speech and his usual speech style are obviously different from Zhou Enlai's speech. Lenin's speech, as Stalin said, has strong logical power. Hitler's speech, on the other hand, has a charming fascination, which makes people tremble like an electric shock (see The Rise and Fall of the Third Reich). The sermons of religious figures often reach the level of touching the soul like hype or stand-up comedy. The speeches of Carter and Reagan, two people running for the presidency of the United States, are typical of the two styles. However, the "speech contest" we want to participate in needs both attention and standardization.
Second, the role:
Speech is a good form of face-to-face publicity, education, encouragement and communication, which plays a great role. "Those who drum up the world must keep their word". And the role of the speech is:
First, clear your mind and determine the content. You can also calmly adjust your mood. It is the manuscript and the foundation.
B, thoughtful and perfect expression. Have enough time to prepare for review.
C, grasp the time and adjust the speed. Broadcasting averages 280 words per minute. The speech is slow, about 250 words. Then, a speech limited to 4 to 6 minutes will probably take 1300 words. Generally, overtime will be deducted 0. Two o'clock.
Third, the characteristics:
First, directly produce social effects. The purpose is to convince the audience. Speaking in front of the audience at a specific time and occasion often produces strong persuasiveness and appeal. Su Qin and Zhang Yi's graduation speech in Guiguzi must make the teacher cry. In Shakespeare's play Caesar, Anthony said on the spot: How did he do for his country? Use less monosyllabic words. Avoid homophones or confusing words. Don't use abbreviations casually. You can also add modal particles appropriately. In order to make it easier to listen, some punctuation marks should be replaced by words, such as changing the pause to "and", changing the dash to "yes", adding "so-called" when quotation marks indicate negation, and explaining brackets with words.
C. random strain, random strain. This requires wit and humor, close contact with the audience and the environment. Speeches on social life issues, including speech contests and roving reports.
When giving lectures, teachers use opening remarks and concluding remarks to introduce writers' works and carry out ideological education; Students use reading reports, question debates, special lectures and thesis defense.
Legal speeches are commonly used by lawyers.
Five, writing:
A. determination of the theme. To have a distinct theme, that is, a judgment sentence, which is repeatedly emphasized in the speech. Let the audience have a sense of intimacy, participation and impact. To refine the theme, we must objectively consider the issues that the masses are generally concerned about and make our own answers to these issues. Adapt to the psychological needs of the audience, so that they have a sense of intimacy, participation and impact. For example, the speech "The horn of War of Resistance against Japanese Aggression has sounded in the new century" encourages people to work as hard as War of Resistance against Japanese Aggression in view of our disadvantages in the economic war. For example, Secretary Jiao, modernization calls for you! ",aiming at the common phenomenon among cadres. Such as "who is the most pitiful and lovely person", aiming at the problem that students ignore their parents' hard work. Another example is "the return of the soul", which is aimed at corruption and spiritual decline.
B. material screening. There should be material, mainly the factual material of new life.
C. structural planning. It is also a three-stage form, but the words are different.
The structure includes preface, trunk and conclusion.
Opening remarks can be made in many ways, such as entering the topic at the beginning, using the topic, asking questions, quoting, etc. (For example, the anti-Japanese war song "Get up, classmates" was used at the beginning of the horn of the anti-Japanese war in the new century). Two commonly used methods are rhetorical question and situational method. The general principle is to get to the point, to the point.
Trunk, the hierarchy of the organization is very clear, and there are language symbols before or after each level. Pay attention to the use of parallelism and pointing gestures when the climax comes. ? D. emotional mobilization. Get into the role and blend in with the audience. Taking emotion as the text: emotion is both a structural clue and a central content. Feelings have certain rhythm ups and downs. It presents an upward curve (steep rise and then decline, then rise higher and higher, and suddenly stop when it reaches the highest peak).
