Hydrangea of Saxifragaceae is poisonous. Is the Viburnum of Caprifoliaceae (such as Chinese hydrangea) poisonous?
Viburnum should be nontoxic. The following is taken from a paper:

Viburnum belongs to Caprifoliaceae, mostly shrubs and small trees, usually about 3m high, with deciduous and evergreen [1]. Colors are white and pink. Some species have large sterile flowers, which are more ornamental. Most fruits are bright red, and a few are blue and black. Fruit is edible, sour and sweet, rich in organic acids and vegetable oils [2]. Many species of this genus have high ornamental value and have been developed. However, the plants of this genus have many economic values, such as some species have medicinal value, fruits can be used for brewing and drinking, stem bark fibers can be used for making paper and rope, and seeds can be used for pressing oil, so their development prospects are very considerable.
