The master's words are not all right, such as complaining directly. I don't think human nature has changed much since ancient times. At least my own experience shows that it is not feasible to report complaints directly. In the face of complicated people's hearts, perhaps we can only complain with "fake".
The Analects of Confucius also said: "A gentleman believes and then becomes the people, and if he doesn't believe, he thinks it is private." Believe and protest. If you don't believe it, you think you are slandering yourself. The implication actually reflects that "straightness" doesn't work. The so-called "trust" comes first. In the current words, it is actually necessary to make good relations first. The knowledge here is not even mastered by the master. Otherwise, I wouldn't sigh: "I can make a fortune, but I will do it even though I am a whip wielder." "If not, just do as I say." I think this sentence has at least three meanings. The first is that the master also wants to make a fortune, even if he is doing inferior work. The second layer is that it is not feasible to seek wealth according to Confucius' expectations. The third layer is from what I like to what I want to do.
Zhu said that when reading the Analects of Confucius, he was such a person when he didn't read it, and he was only such a person after reading it, that is, he never read it. What I learned from reading The Analects of Confucius is that Confucius is an idealist. Only the ideal is the ideal after all, and the reality is the reality after all. The ideal is never so easy to realize, and living according to the ideal will never be so smooth.
The ideal is beautiful, but the road to pursue is infinitely long, life is short, and I can't be on the road forever.
Survival, and then better survival, is always the first priority in life. No one likes a person who always talks about conditions. Although everyone needs good conditions and people's hearts are changeable, we should also learn to master some intrigues and learn some methods of military strategists and legalists. Although it may be despised by so-called saints, it is really effective.
