What is the major of Internet of Things?
The contents of the Internet of Things project include: information and communication engineering, electronic science and technology, computer science and technology. Introduction to Internet of Things, fundamentals of circuit analysis, signals and systems, analog electronic technology, digital circuit and logic design, microcomputer principle and interface technology, engineering electromagnetic field, communication principle, computer network.

The Internet of Things is basically divided into three levels. The first layer is to feel the external environmental information with sensors, which we call the perception layer. In the sensing layer, in addition to the wide application of various sensors, there are various radio frequency tags and terminal sensing such as QR code, GPS and camera.

The second layer is to transfer the collected data to the data center, which we call the transport layer. In addition to the services provided by the three major network operators, the transport layer also has various short-distance transmission methods, such as NFC technology, which is widely used in mobile payment. All these provide technical support for the data transmission of the Internet of Things.

The third layer is to analyze the received data and control the object intelligently, which we call the intelligent processing layer.

Employment Prospects of Internet of Things Engineering Major

The Internet of Things project has a huge market, so the employment prospects are also very good. Graduates can engage in in in-depth, comprehensive and interdisciplinary information communication work in the information communication era, and they can also engage in communication technology work such as design and production in news communication technology or government management departments.

Scientific research institutions, design institutes, consulting companies, construction engineering companies, property and energy management, building energy-saving equipment and product production enterprises are engaged in the research, design, construction, operation, monitoring and management of building energy efficiency.
