College students, as senior professionals trained by the state, are new forces to promote social progress. College students must have a correct outlook on life, values and life pursuit and belief. However, college students' ideas are constantly being washed away by the market economy. The concepts of "material benefit" and "personal utility", money worship and hedonism affect the value orientation and life pursuit of college students. Some college students' life pursuits and beliefs are more realistic, even utilitarian and secular. In order to understand the ideological trends of college students in the new era, we conducted a questionnaire survey on "College Students' Life Pursuit and Belief" in the form of online questionnaire survey, hoping to provide countermeasures and suggestions for further strengthening and improving college students' ideological and political education.

I. Findings

The author uses the online platform "Questionnaire Network" to make a questionnaire, and uses QQ and WeChat to distribute the questionnaire to a college student in Changsha, Hunan Province. * * * 359 valid questionnaires were collected. Among them, men accounted for 26.74%; Women account for 73.26%.

For setting goals, 64.62% of the respondents think that they should be set, but no clear goals have been set; 32.59% of the respondents believe that setting goals will make them work harder. 54.32% of the respondents set their life goals; 45.68% of the respondents have not yet been established. 32.87% of the respondents are idealistic, ambitious, actively working for their own goals and optimistic; 56.27% of the respondents know that the future situation is grim, but now they are at a loss and don't know how to work hard; 4.74% of the respondents have nothing to pursue, let things go as they are, live a good day and don't worry about the future; 4. 17% of the respondents are pessimistic about the future and don't know what is really meaningful; 1.95% of the respondents chose other. 45.68% of the respondents believe that the main reason for motivating themselves to struggle is the realization of self-worth; 39.55% of the respondents believe that the main reason that motivates them to struggle is that it is not easy for parents to repay their parents' parenting at an early date. 5 1.8 1% of the respondents believe that a happy family is successful; 26.74% of the respondents believe that career success is success.

In the process of pursuing the goal, 24.79% of the respondents will be influenced by the attitude of relatives and friends; 3 1.48% of the respondents will want to retreat when they encounter difficulties; 3 1.75% of the respondents will go forward with firm belief. 4 1.5% of the respondents believe that an important step to pursue lofty beliefs is to join the China * * * production party; 52.09% of the respondents believe that belief is a part of values, and 84. 12% of the respondents seek a balance between material satisfaction and spiritual satisfaction.

Second, the current situation of college students' life pursuit and belief in the new era

1. Unknown target, insufficient motivation. Some college students have no clear goals. A few of them set goals when they first entered the university, but they didn't put them into practice. They always doubted whether they could achieve them. Life goals and pursuits are the motivation to motivate college students to make progress, and at the same time, they can restrain their behavior to some extent. Lack of goals is easy to get lost in diversified social life, drift with the flow, and even commit illegal and disorderly behaviors. It is meaningless to set the goal too high and unrealistic, and even lead to self-doubt, indecision and other situations of declining execution.

2. Lack of motivation, go with the flow. Lack of motivation in the process of achieving the goal. Although there are attempts and efforts, but more is happy with the situation. Setting goals is only the beginning of the pursuit of life, and the realization process full of unknowns is the test of willpower. The process of chasing dreams is full of difficulties and challenges, and it can't be smooth sailing. People who lack motivation and firm belief will give up halfway or give up when they encounter difficulties, and eventually lose their way.

3. Pursuing deviation and incomplete cognition. Most people think that family happiness is the greatest success, not career success. In today's society, economic independence affects the construction of family relations to a certain extent. Without a stable job, it is easy to be at the bottom of family relations and have no right to speak. How can we talk about family happiness under such circumstances?

4. Lack of faith and mental slack. Contemporary college students generally believe that faith is a part of values and affects all aspects of life, but the reality is that most people do not have clear beliefs. The important manifestation of the lack of faith is that there is no clear goal and pursuit in life, and life is mediocre. In fact, the influence of faith on life is intangible. Positive life beliefs guide college students to live optimistically, while pessimistic and negative life beliefs will lead them astray.
