Research on prediction method of foundation settlement based on finite element analysis
Abstract: Aiming at the foundation settlement, a prediction method based on finite element analysis is proposed. Firstly, by collecting measured data, a mathematical model is established to simulate the foundation settlement process. Then, the finite element method is used to predict and analyze the foundation settlement under different working conditions. Finally, by comparing with the experimental results, the effectiveness of this method is verified. The results show that this method can effectively predict the foundation settlement, which provides a useful reference for foundation treatment and engineering design.

When writing abstracts of soil mechanics papers, we should pay attention to the following points:
1. Concise and clear: The abstract should be concise and clear, and complicated sentences and technical terms should be avoided. Try to use simple words and short sentences so that readers can quickly understand the main content of the paper.
2. Highlight the key points: The abstract should highlight the main points, methods and results of the paper. Avoid describing too much background information and details.
3. Clear structure: The abstract should have a clear structure, including introduction, methods, results and conclusions. This can help readers better understand the logical structure of the paper.
4. No citation: Abstracts usually do not need to cite documents. However, under special circumstances, such as citing the methods or data of a certain document, it can be briefly noted below the abstract.
