First, the main problems in the development of China's insurance industry

Insurance in the modern sense began with marine insurance in western society around14th century, and19th century was introduced to China. The new China insurance industry is a setback after the reorganization and transformation of the old insurance industry. Driven by the reform and opening-up policy, 1980 officially resumed and developed rapidly. The insurance system has also undergone a series of reforms, such as introducing competition mechanism, establishing separate management, speeding up the construction of insurance intermediary market, cultivating insurance agents, and making the allocation of insurance resources increasingly reasonable; At the same time, the insurance industry began to pay attention to the implementation of comprehensive risk management. As one of the core of implementing comprehensive risk management, asset-liability matching management has been paid more and more attention by insurance companies and insurance regulators. However, compared with the insurance industry in developed countries, China's insurance industry is still in the initial stage of development, and there are still some problems in its development:

First, the effective demand for insurance is insufficient.

Second, the number of insurance institutions is increasing, but the quality of insurance services is still not high.

Third, although the insurance service is improving, the credit crisis is serious.

Fourth, the insurance supervision is not strong enough and its role is limited.

Second, to solve the problems in China's insurance industry countermeasures

Through the above analysis, we should clearly understand the problems and difficulties in the development of China's insurance industry, especially in promoting the long-term healthy development of China's insurance industry. In order to better promote the development of China's insurance industry, we should focus on the following work:

(A) to strengthen insurance education and publicity

1. Strengthen education and publicity on universal insurance knowledge. By strengthening communication with the news media, we will actively carry out insurance knowledge publicity and education, continuously expand the influence of insurance publicity, and raise residents' awareness of insurance.

2. Strengthen insurance education in colleges and universities. With the rapid development of China's insurance industry, the demand for insurance talents is increasing. In order to meet the demand for talents in the insurance industry in the new period, we should first attach importance to the research of insurance theory and strengthen practical teaching. Secondly, strengthen the exploration of international talent training mode. So as to cultivate more international insurance talents and make greater contributions to the insurance industry in China.

3. Strengthen the on-the-job education of insurance practitioners. There are many insurance practitioners in China, but few of them have really received professional insurance education through colleges and universities. To this end, it is necessary to vigorously encourage insurance practitioners to continue their studies through social examinations such as self-study exams and correspondence courses, and constantly improve their insurance theoretical knowledge and professional quality; At the same time, it is also necessary to strengthen the training of employees and improve their professional level by organizing insurance qualifications examinations.

(2) Changing the contents of insurance services

With the development of market economy, service quality, service means and service level have become the key to the development of insurance industry. In the future, service competition will play an important role in talent competition, product competition and service competition. Therefore, the insurance industry urgently needs to strengthen its service function and improve its social image.

1. Improve the service consciousness of all employees, cultivate the service concept of employees, establish the purpose of serving the society and the insured, and provide quality services for the insured before, during and after the insurance.

2. Simplify procedures and improve work efficiency. In the design of business operation process, we should take the convenience of customers as the center, and the insurance procedures should be completed in one window to reduce unnecessary troubles for customers.

3. Enrich the content of claims service, speed up claims settlement, and make small claims filed in a satisfactory manner, and send large claims to your door. Establish the responsibility system of receiving claims first, and implement the responsibility of whoever receives the report, coordinate and organize the implementation from the aspects of survey, loss determination and compensation, reduce internal turnover links, and facilitate the insured to claim compensation. Set up a salary feedback form, strengthen supervision and inspection, and increase the transparency of salary work.

(3) Strengthen the construction of honesty and improve the credibility of insurance companies.

1. Strengthen the management education of insurance salesmen and establish a good social image of the insurance industry. First of all, we should pay close attention to the "remedial class" of insurance enterprise credit.

2. Vigorously strengthen the construction of credit system, and form an honest system and social environment. (1) Basic credit with market traders as the main body. It is to focus on enhancing the sense of identity and trust of insurance and insurance companies in society; (2) For institutional credit dominated by legal system, international practices and business habits, the first thing at present is to establish a credit evaluation system for all insurance companies as soon as possible; (3) Regulatory credit based on government supervision. Responding to the trust of market participants in the government depends on the construction of personal and social credit systems. At present, no matter from the economic environment or the legal environment, it should be said that the environment for building a personal credit system is already available, and its final establishment will not be too far away.

3. Insist on honesty, severely punish dishonesty, and make honesty truly become the fashion of the insurance industry. The first, the most basic and useful, is to really work hard on interest orientation and interest mechanism, which is the most fundamental rules of the game. On the one hand, it makes enterprises and individuals who value honesty profit and get benefits, that is, it makes honesty a powerful means of competition and profit, and makes "honest people form their own families"; On the other hand, it is necessary to make enterprises and individuals who make and sell fake goods unprofitable and punished, that is, to make the loss of trust pay the price, and to make it big enough to make "cleverness is not as good as sincerity".

(4) Strengthening insurance supervision.

1. Strengthen insurance supervision. In view of the late start of China's insurance industry, the government's supervision of the insurance market should take the form of strict supervision to protect the interests of the insured. Strengthening insurance supervision is mainly reflected in the supervision organization and supervision system: from the perspective of supervision organization, the CIRC, as the government supervision institution in China, should strengthen the construction of local insurance supervision institutions, gradually set up its dispatched offices, and further improve the quality and supervision level of its supervisors; From the perspective of supervision system, first, we should fully absorb and make use of foreign advanced and effective supervision concepts and means; The second is to strengthen the supervision of regulatory agencies and their staff, and when conditions are ripe, gradually transition from the principle of paying equal attention to market behavior supervision and solvency supervision to the principle of solvency supervision as the core.

Therefore, according to the provisions of the Company Law and the Insurance Law on limited liability companies, we should establish a modern enterprise system and form an internal control system for insurance companies to ensure that insurance companies form a mechanism of operating according to law, being responsible for their own profits and losses and developing themselves.
