(2) The basic framework, basic structure and logical relationship of each part of the paper (such as overview, overall design, hardware design, software design, debugging, conclusion, etc.). )

(3) Focus on the design ideas and contents of each part.

(4) Innovation, breakthrough or disagreement of the paper.

(5) Issues not mentioned in the paper but closely related or unresolved.

The content of the self-report should have a clear theme, highlight the key points, and remember that the content is vague and sloppy.

2. Prepare the defense questions

In view of the questions that the teacher may ask when defending, we can prepare from the following three aspects.

(1) First of all, you should have a deep understanding of your graduation project. The defense topic is always inseparable from the topic of your graduation project. You should firmly grasp the basic theory and knowledge involved in the topic, and every sentence and picture in your graduation design materials should be able to explain the problem. You should also know about related industries.

(2) Understand the research direction of the teachers in the defense group. Usually a few days before your defense, you already know which teachers will take part in your defense. University is a major, and teachers in the defense group generally like to ask questions about their familiar professional direction. Not only should you know the teacher's research direction, but also consider the internal relationship between the teacher's research direction and your graduation project topic.

(3) Try to understand the common problems of this kind of graduation design.

3. Prepare materials and tools for defense.

In order to better explain the content of your graduation project, you can make some materials or appliances for your defense design. If your design is made in kind, or written in the source code of software, it is best to demonstrate it on the spot. Others, such as charts, models and outlined cardboard, are good supplementary defense materials.

It is conceivable that if everyone speaks with their mouths, the defense teacher will only listen with his ears for a long time. After a long time, it will inevitably lead to hearing fatigue, and it is difficult to leave a deep impression on your narrative. Using these auxiliary means can not only improve your self-report effect, but also enliven the atmosphere of defense, at least make the teacher feel that you attach great importance to defense, thus leaving a good impression.

4. Adjustment of personal psychological state and preparation of etiquette

Graduation defense is the last link in four years of college. The successful completion of this link can draw a satisfactory end for my four-year undergraduate life, and at the same time, I can also have advantages in employment or postgraduate entrance examination, so I should pay attention to it. But defense is only an integral part of graduation project after all. As long as you finish the task of graduation project seriously at ordinary times, there is nothing difficult to defend, let alone be nervous. We should meet the graduation defense with a calm mind.

Good manners can leave a very good impression on you, so pay attention to your clothes when you graduate. Formal but lively, rigorous but not rigid is the best choice. You can decide according to your own situation, but in any case, unkempt, sleepy, big shorts, slippers and suspenders should not appear in this graduation defense occasion.

Step 5 rehearse

If you have never been on the stage, it is actually necessary to rehearse. There is still a big difference between a speaker and an audience. Through rehearsal, you can find unexpected practical problems, such as whether the time for self-report is appropriate, whether you are nervous when you speak, etc. The closer the rehearsal is to the actual situation, the better. You should make some students pretend to be teachers and ask them some questions in imitation of the teacher. Look at your watch at the same time and control your speaking time accurately.

Many students think it pays too much attention to form. In fact, anything excellent in the world is the perfect unity of content and form.
