What influence does Buddhism have on China culture?
It has had an impact in the following three aspects.

I. Thought

China's philosophy sprouted in the Zhou Dynasty and flourished in the Warring States Period. During the Warring States Period, hundred schools of thought contended and expressed his opinions, which made China's philosophy extremely prosperous. Confucius was the only one in the Han Dynasty. Later, because Liang Wudi rejected hundreds of schools, he decided to respect Confucianism. So Taoism declined, and Buddhism prevailed in the Wei, Jin and Six Dynasties, and Taoism gradually revived, resulting in conflicts, exclusion due to conflicts, and integration due to exclusion.

Second, sculpture.

In terms of sculpture, Buddhism has promoted China's sculpture art level to be higher, and the sculpture content and techniques to be richer. Judging from the Buddha statues in Dunhuang, Longmen and Yungang, it has a great influence. India's Buddha sculpture art comes from Greece, which is the result of cultural exchange during Alexander the Great's eastward expedition. Due to the introduction of Buddhism, China also indirectly introduced the Greek sculpture art.

Third, painting.

In painting, Buddhism has a great influence not only on subject matter, but also on painting skills and concepts. In particular, Zen brought the so-called "Zen painting", which had a great influence on landscape painting and figure painting after the Tang and Song Dynasties. For example, the poems of the Tang Dynasty poet Wang Wei are known as "paintings in poems and poems in paintings", and the painting style in Wang Wei's poems is completely different from the "meticulous style" that emphasizes realism.
