The main characteristics of Guangji dialect
Phonetically speaking, it has a unique vowel η, four nasal initials, and M, N, η and G have entering words, all ending in a glottal sound. There are seven tone types, all of which are divided into yin and yang. According to Mr. Liu Wei's research, there are two adjustment values for Yin to go, Yang to go with Yang and Yin to go with one. But this statement can't be found in 1948 Zhao Yuanren's Hubei Dialect Investigation Report, because Mr. Liu Wei is a native of Guangji, a primary school teacher, and his aunt said it from Mr. Liu Wei's mouth. From 65438 to 0958, Mr. Liu Wei wrote an article in Journal of Wuhan University on the tone category and tone value of Guangji dialect. He thinks that there are nine categories and seven tone values in Guangji Tune, namely, 32, 2 1 in Yangping, 44/in Yinshang, Yangtongqu, Yinqu-1 2 13 and Yinqu -2. Grammatically, the word order of many sentence patterns is different from that of Mandarin. In terms of vocabulary, there are many Gan dialect words and many foreign words.
