In order to better maintain the freshness and moisture of betel nut, using modified atmosphere refrigeration will not be limited by natural conditions, which can effectively inhibit the enzyme activity in betel nut, kill various pathogenic microorganisms, slow down the breathing frequency and ripening speed of betel nut, and prevent tissue aging, thus prolonging the purpose of fresh-keeping storage.
